got 2 pinatas. Opened them for Skyshine's bedlam redux (with soundtrack) and bombshell.
Just bought 2 piñatas myself. All I got was Imperium and Seven Kingdoms 2 HD... Perhaps I would have had better luck if I had purchased em last night instead.

Penguinist: Yesterday: Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition
Today: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

Didn't own either of these and interested in both, although I had my fingers crossed for Pillars of Eternity or Titan Quest.
You know that Titan Quest is on sale now, and it barely costs more than 1 pinata, right...? No gambling required.

apparition: I did a buyer's remorse return once with no issues. It went very smooth. Not sure how that applies to this, though, considering how many complaints there seem to be about people getting games they don't want.

drmike: Would be nice if there was a method of gifting these games that folks don't want. It's like pulling teeth to get cash into my wallet. A lot of these games on the list are ones that I would like to have.
I think it would maybe make some sense to have a feature for example were you could instantly return an unwanted Pinata for 60% of the purchase value, or something like that.
Yes, for these sales, it's better to get in early and spend what you want all at once. I knew around how much I would have to spend to get what I wanted in a worst case scenario. I knew that because I had a approximation of how many of the games I didn't own. So on the first day I spent under $100 and don't plan to spend any more. Because of that, I won several high value games that made $100 a good deal for me.

This wouldn't work out well if you only owned very few of the possible games. You're much better off just buying the game you want in that case.

Robette: I thought there is a 30 day only if its technically broken/unplayable refund policy?

That clarifies some, but it only mentions replacements. Can Pinatas add up? Would it mean I than would have to exchange 3 Pinatas for a 5,99 game? Do they consider sales prices or do they always calculate with full price (at least the replacement)?
I skip all these blind type of sales. Wish they where cheaper like a buck fifty or a dollar. :/
Tried my luck once again today and wound up with Skyshine's BEDLAM Redux. I'm quite pleased with the three pinatas I've bought. Think I'm going to stop now.
I got Time Commando.

I do recall someone saying that they cost $1.50 if you're living in Mexico (because of regional pricing), but I can't recall if that post was on here or reddit. I'm trying to find it, but nothing's coming up.

Edit: Seems I got the price wrong, it's $1.95. It was in the reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/6tm9y7/gog_pi%C3%B1ata_madness_sale_deadlight_directors_cut/dlmkh07/

Yesterday:

1. Her Story
2. Guild of Dungeoneering
3. Seven Kingdoms 2 HD

Today:

1. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
2. Saints Row: Gat out of Hell
3. SpellForce Platinum
4. Bombshell
5. Warlords Battlecry 3
6. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
7. Trine 2: Complete Story

--------------------------------------
Wasn't much excited about Her Story (though must admit that after trying it, it is well good in it's way, the acting is great), otherwise can't really complain. Overall for 10 Pinatas (26.9€, which is about max I'd say you go), got quite Good Old Games (143.1€ <- full prices).

So I'm done now, thank you GOG :)
Another The Guild 2 for the statistics.

I just bought >observer_ and received €2.70 in GOG Wallet funds, so I thought I might as well spend them by getting a free piñata.

Nothing gained, nothing lost, all things considered, and now I have another game (albeit one I'll never play) in my GOG library. I didn't pay for this piñata, so I don't even feel bad for getting a game I couldn't care less about.

So, as expected, out of the two piñatas I purchased, I got two games that were immediately classified under my personal 'Not My Thing' GOG tag: HoMM III and The Guild 2.
Bought 6 Pinatas and got:

1. Shadowrun: Dragonfall DC
2. Darksiders 2
3. Imperium Galactica 2
4. Time Commando
5. Armikrog
6. Kyn

Lame...

If you had read my linked post completely you should have seen that "exchange" is only ONE possibility. You might as well withdrawal without any reason as long as the game is not downloaded, streamed, activated ect. 30days from purchase. Regarding the exchange you are allowed to exchange a game one time for another of same (or less) value, so it's of course on a per game basis and not on an order basis with several games on one order.
