Evixios: As you can only get games you don't already own, this way of doing randomized games is way better then just picking from the pool again and again (which makes duplicates so easy to get)
IAmSinistar: Actually you can get dupes, if you run the pool down. I've read reports of dupes already. As is common in these kinds of sales, GOG will only put up a limited number of some of the titles (typically the best bargains or games most in demand). There is no indication that these are exhausted, so if you keep playing with the idea that these are the only ones left for you and thus you'll get them on the next pass, you'll most likely find yourself with games you own instead.
EDIT: For further evidence, see the post directly before this one. :)
Yeah I've read the FAQ about running the pool down. As long as GOG doesn't change the FAQ half-way down the sale, you should be able to get all dupes refunded as it should't happen or at least give you a message. Heck even if you buy more pinatas then the remaining pool, you get gift-pinatas instead.. At least thats what the FAQ says. As we all know GOG can be a bit quirky sometimes, so I hope the dupes people receive are fixed in the end.
I don't expect GOG to give out all the games on the list indefinitely and 'fair' (as in, less expensive games will be given faster than expensive ones). But if you either spend that many pinatas to run down the entire pool, or already (almost) had all the games in the first place (i saw a post in the sale topic that had the 'you already own everything'' message) it should still try to give you something nice and new from the remaining pool, right?
