Gotta admit that making a password is completely weird!

Tried using a 20 numercial password with numbers - Password not safe
Tried using 10 and 5 numbers - Password not safe

-.-

After 20 mins of trying i made something short and random...it accepted!

Well technically a password is much safer if you use different symbol sets (numeric, alphabetical, special characters).

Sure why not, if you consider large burly men busting down your front door as gift :)

A password is safer if it is over 8 characters. If no one knows what it is then it doesn't matter if it is all 1's. The fact that there is the possibility of 94 characters per password character length means that brute forcing the password takes exponentially longer for each character. A 4 character password, for instance can be cracked in a few seconds by a brute force attempt. By the same token, an 8 character password would take MONTHS worth of attempts to go through every possible combination of characters.

That sounds like the combination a moron would use on their lug--

Oh.
Doesn't Gog tell you what are the password requirements? O_o
Passwords really need to be thrown out, and replaced with pass-phrases. Sure adding in and replacing letters with unexpected things can help strengthen it, but true brute force is usually not needed, rather a list of common passwords often works. Some of the easiest passwords to crack are simply 'password'.
Password creations are what?
Never use 123456. Better use poiuyt :P

(don't take this seriously)

Except that nobody brute forces passwords anymore, but use rainbow tables. And no, using 1337speak in your p4ssw0rd isn't safe either as they do try those substitutions. Also phrases are unsafe too because combinations of words are tested too.
Anyway the best passwords are completely random.
