Heh, modifying a easy password to a ludicrous one... my own experiences (Fred Meyers)

(it's actually more complex but for simplicity i don't want to share it)
Original: MyPassword
Need a number: MyPassword1
Need a symbol: MyPassword_1
Need to change it next month
Need a symbol: MyPassword_2
Changed where you need 2 symbols
Need a symbol: MyPassword__2

Uggg... I know my password i generated was actually a very complex combination of letters and symbols, yet the requirements made me never want to log into the management system, which was required for filling out leave, sick leave, or taking tests occasionally mandatory to keep working there. Think i worked there 2 years, at some point my password was ending __13.

I know i personally have about 3-4 passwords:
Weak passwords for places that don't need security.
Medium passwords, for my computers, tablets, and some sites where I've spent real money.
Insanely difficult passwords: When i can on important stuff (Banking, selling my soul, etc)
Difficult passwords: When the character limit shortens my password under my insane difficulty level.

Heh, just had a thought. Anyone use moorse code for a password?: -... . ..-. .-. . . ?

Tallima: ...
That episode actually reminds me of the highly ridiculous event that happened in the US where a student got in trouble for assisting a student instead of waiting for the nurse to answer an email about how to proceed with a student on the floor having an asthma attack.

Oh yes I remember reading about that. Utterly ludicrous

yeah i can tell your new here ;p
Frankly, most password thefts these days take advantage of vulnerabilities by either installing a keylogger or taking advantage of poorly secured password files. Unless your password is 12345 or qwerty or the like, you are unlikely to get hacked by password guessing. Even as computer speed increases, realize that is just what it takes for just 1 password. People aren't bruteforcing passwords like that unless you are a high value target like a server admin. It's not worth their time.
