The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 50% off for the first time. Up to 80% off games that you'll find only on GOG.com.

Across the years, we've tracked down and recovered numerous gaming classics - those lost to time but never quite forgotten. We've tested, tweaked, and tested some more to get them up and running on your computers, free of the all-consuming hassle of virtual machines and emulators. We've done our best to deliver bonus goodies: manuals, booklets, and all the little things that gave us a sense of heft and ownership so many years ago.

We are digital archeologists, we are gaming detectives, and this week is all about the games that make GOG.com a unique place to be:

For the first time ever, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets a 50%, courtesy of our friends at CD PROJEKT RED. And while we're at it, we're throwing in the rest of the Witcher franchise along for the ride.

Four bundles, the best of those that returned, only on GOG.com:
D&D: Classic Bundle (up to -80%): featuring the classic editions of Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights - 10 games in total.
D&D: Gold Box Bundle (up to -50%): featuring three tomes of Forgotten Realms: The Archives (with Eye of the Beholder, Pool of Radiance, Dungeon Hack, and more) as well as Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, Krynn, Ravenloft, and others - 18 games in total.
Warhammer Bundle (up to -50%): featuring 4 games: Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Warhammer 40,00: Rites of War.

Wild Hunt at 50% makes 30€?

Ahah, yeah sure...

Other than that, not a sale for I, I guess. Got half of the dnd games, only thing I need is to invest time in it. :P
I think GOG has got me cornered (again) lol.
I really want to get some of those bundles....
Just have to find some extra time (some year) to start playing all the games I already have.

Awesome sale, GOG!

Thank you again
It's nice to see a smaller sale event like this. I like it!
Too bad its a bundle thing, I just want a few of the gold box games.
:P

cutterjohn: [...] whomever own the gold box series now needs to have a sit down and rethink their value. [...]
That would be GOG themselves. ;D (They also own the Warhammer games that are in another bundle, as well as the "General" games that have been released so far.)
(On a side note, I really wish GOG hadn't called their bundle of D&D oldies the "Gold Box Bundle", as fewer than half the games in it are considered Gold Box titles. Calling it something like "SSI D&D Bundle" would've been more apt.)

cutterjohn: Those gold box games are in DIRE need of being remade [...]
I'm guessing a lot of them have been remade...by fans, in the form of mods for, e.g., Neverwinter Nights or Neverwinter Nights 2.

synfresh: I love nostalgia but $33 is steep when I only want the certain games in the gold box D&D bundle and then the discount drops. I also don't understand the 'only on GoG' tagline, Witcher 3 (among some others) isn't only sold here.
I haven't checked other sites but perhaps they are talking about the discount, maybe is the 50% off what's only on GOG.
That's some interesting sale. I have more or less all the games I want from it, but it's interesting to browse nevertheless
Meh. Wake me when we get a halfway decent LucasArts sale.
Oh the wallet pain. Most of my wishlist (Gold box + Star Trek) at 50% off for about $40 total. Do I give in or wait for a more piecemeal sale? Decisions decisions.

Bearprint: The D&D Classic Bundle is hurting my eyes with its shining awesomeness...
Go for it!
This bundle worth to be played..

blotunga: Btw, looks like the Star Trek games are on steam also.
Well, 3 of them are. Starfleet Command is not on Steam.

But my guess is they didn't just want to sell one Star Trek Game and then have to answer all the questions about why only Starfleet Command is on sale. =)

But Star Trek aside, the amount of discount is the only reason I didn't grab all the Warhammer games.

As for only on GOG I'm surprised they didn't include Fantasy General and Pacific General since being published by GOG definitely means they are likely "Only on GOG."
Nice, but I will pass. Waiting for some shiny releases during the winter sale. :)
I'm tempted to buy Witcher 3 now. I kind of wish I didn't already have the D&D Classic bundle, love those games. I think Fallout 1 + 2 deserves to be in that bundle though.

Bearprint: Are the Icewind Dale-games worth getting?
Their stories suck (IWD's is run-of-the-mill clichéd fantasy plot, IWD 2's had some potential but squandered it in the end). If you're in it for the combat and dungeon crawls though, they're fun. The best thing about them is that you can create your own party members, and IWD 2 has the most advanced and user-friendly GUI of all the Infinity Engine games.

Humm, in doubt about getting the Gold Box bundle now or waiting for a better discount. Decisions, decisions...
