Humble Bundle hasn't been tempting me for a long time now...
I am temptedto get Divinity Dragon Commander but i'm on the road and the wifi looks to have some shady virus as some sites redirect to adware so i won't risk it. I'll get it in the winter here.

It gets weird when you see that you've just purchased Humble Jumbo Bundle 5 (or whatever, just hypothetical here) and didn't even touch a fraction of the games from Jumbo Bundle 4 or even 3. That's sad, bro ;(

ChaunceyK: Today's HB is really tempting me. I much prefer to keep my digital games library limited to GOG only, partly due to loyalty but mostly just for wanting to keep everything in one place.

But today's HB has Blackguards 1 & 2 at a BTA price of under $6. DRM-free, no less.

I love the turn-based combat RPGs, especially when you can employ some strategy in the battles.

I admit, I also have a very small number of games already on HB and on Desura, but those are games that aren't here on GOG. Blackguards 1 & 2 are both here on GOG, and I've never seen them on sale any lower than $8 (that was fore BG1, I don't even remember if BG2 was on sale that low).

Decisions, decisions...
Just wait until the GOG sales, its likely to be in their. Play another game in the meantime. I personally wouldn't trust Humble, plus you''l end up with the rest of the games as rentware.
Mildly interested in the Blackguards games, as well as Dragon Commander. Anyone care to tip the balance in favour of either getting or skipping this bundle, seeing as I don't care much for the other games, yet I don't mind Steam all that much either?
A part of me is tempted and there are some fine games here and easily worth 9 bucks but my problem is that I already have a huge backlog and Fallout 4 only a few weeks away that will keep me busy the rest of the year. So I'm kinda thinking "what for ?" It is kinda like flushing 9 bucks down the toilet since I will not be playing any of the games for a long while.

I probably still end up buying it though - because I'm a gamer and we buy games I guess.

What is it you don't trust about Humble? Admittedly, I've only made one bundle purchase from them (about a month ago), but I haven't had any problems. Sure, I've got a bunch of Steam keys now (I don't use Steam & I have no interest in those games anyway), but I'm happy with the ones I am playing for the amount I paid.

Well that's just it they are a steam key reseller, the one or two alledged drm free games may or may not be, their drm definition may be different. Same with shiny loot, started out right, then fell in with the wrong crowd.
Ok, good to know.

I consider it much more sad that Humble hasn't managed to offer a bundle I'm interested in for over 8 months now.

FWIW I have never had a single issue with a game marked DRM-free from Humble and I don't use Steam so I would notice. I haven't heard of anyone else having issues either. If it's marked, I'd personally trust it.
Blah blah blah Humble is evil, Steam is satanic.

Goddamn idiots everywhere.
