Today's HB is really tempting me. I much prefer to keep my digital games library limited to GOG only, partly due to loyalty but mostly just for wanting to keep everything in one place.

But today's HB has Blackguards 1 & 2 at a BTA price of under $6. DRM-free, no less.

I love the turn-based combat RPGs, especially when you can employ some strategy in the battles.

I admit, I also have a very small number of games already on HB and on Desura, but those are games that aren't here on GOG. Blackguards 1 & 2 are both here on GOG, and I've never seen them on sale any lower than $8 (that was fore BG1, I don't even remember if BG2 was on sale that low).

Decisions, decisions...

Blackguards games looks bad, I rather play with Homm 3, Wasteland 2 or Divinity Original Sin, Xcom or Xenonauts.

That's one of the main reasons Steam users don't want to use GOG. :P

Other than looking at and eyeing only Blackguards, it seems like this Humble Jumbo Bundle is pretty disappointing; yeah, look under each game cover and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Other than that, I remember some Humble Jumbo Bundle that had Terraria and King of Fighters, that was a good bundle even if it is also disappointing for the same reason as above. I don't see much games I'd want here.

Say though, why is Blackguards great for you? Other than being DRM-free (you don't need to explain that). "What? This game is not on Steam? NO BUY!"

But hey, they never heard of making a folder which holds all their games' shortcuts on the desktop.... right?

The only ones that interest me in the slightest are Abyss Odyssey and Spintires, and with a minimum price of $9 and Steam-only, I'm not THAT interested. Pass for now.

Insurgency is a great game, but everybody already have it. And the high tier games are fine too.

That is certainly a low price for both games, considering how high the base prices for both Blackguards still are otherwise. I already have BG1+DLC on GOG, no BG2 yet.

I'd be surprised if also the GOG versions won't be discounted very heavily, considering that bundle. I guess I'll wait for that on GOG before getting BG2.

Just saw what games are included in the bundle and frankly, I would give $9 just for Spintires if it was DRM-Free. I've been very interested in that sim for quite sometime, but no way am I giving any more money to Steam, even though I still have a Steam account to be able to play some games I bought on retail. If only there was a DRM-Free option - even better a GOG option...

Hmmm... being the only game that's DRM-free makes it an automatic NO from me...

I admit that this is tempting me as well. I also love turn-based combat and have had my eye on the Blackguards games for a while. I've also been curious about Divinity: Dragon Commander, but not $40 curious. I've never had, nor do I plan to ever get, a Steam account so I'd spend $9 on three games (not a bad deal considering their full prices) and have some more useless Steam keys to throw on the pile. I'm still in "wait and see" mode at the moment. If GOG starts their huge Fall sale soon I'll likely forget all about the Humble Store for duration of the sale. However if there is no major GOG sale by next week and some other DRM-Free game I want shows up in the bundle I'll buy it and not look back.

DRM-Free Blackguards 1 & 2 is indeed veeeery tempting. Abyss Odyssey and all the other bonuses also seem worthwhile. Unfortunately it's still too steamy for me.
I'd rather just get Blackguards here later when the price is right.

Already got Black Guard, Divinity Dragon Commander, Abyss Odyssey, Insurgency......some of them multiple copies too. So very little temptation.

No. It's just GOG library is so mediocre when compared to Steam.

No Dota 2, no CS GO, no TF. That alone is enough reason to sway 'normal' millions players from using GOG platform.

Not to mention latest AAAs which are technically non-existent on GOG.

I use everything, though, despite I do play Dota 2 religiously. I also have Bnet / Origin/ uShitplay accounts.
