real.geizterfahr: Not very helpful and probably not even related to your problem, but since I updated my laptop to Windows 10, I can't play The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky anymore. The game kinda launches (title screen shows up), but when I try to load a game or click New Game, it throws me back to the desktop. No error message, no nothing. Reinstalling didn't help either :/ But my other GOGs work fine :D
You could try running event viewer after a crash (eventvwr.msc) and checking the applications log (Windows Logs -> Application).
There should be a mention of the crash, of course if the game itself makes a log file in its installation directory that would be even better.

Doozerpindan: I have DirectX 12 and launching as an administrator didn't work either.
99% or maybe 100% of your games don't use directx 12 :P

Don't install under program files maybe in some other folder also try getting stranded 2 it will want to install direct play do that and then tell me if the games still don't work.
Anyway what is your graphic card you might want to update your drivers for it if win 10 already didn't do that.
