you can actually redeem the key from steam on origin, so you only have to use origin (which is currently less intrusive and more stable).

thank the fox of wonksomeness
Just a little PSA, as this is tricky to find: the default file path for photo mode is Documents/BioWare/Mass Effect Legendary Edition/ScreenShots
I wonder if GOG can get this eventually. I have patience.
Looks like they are correcting some minor lore errors at least.

Got to the mission in ME1 were you encounter Elanos Haliat, in the original version they gave him a human model by accident but in the LE they corrected this with a Turian model.

Can you? I can't find my Key in Steam - the game shows in Origin with a Steam Logo - try to run it through origin with Steam closed and it opens Steam anyway

Swedrami: "We're giving fans a chance to download content previously available in the Deluxe Editions of Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, as well as the first Mass Effect soundtrack (including the new Legendary Edition Track: "Resynthesis").*"

Download (1.7 GB)
Cheers! :)

Look at the bottom left corner of the screen when you swap weapons. Each gun has an animation that shows it unfolding.

It's a really nice and subtle touch. I also notice that the weapons in ME1 seem to have more tweaks to them such as a rate of fire change and such.

I like this change too. It's my favourite so far. Keep in mind that the equipment menu shows weapon output as DPS instead of damage (except for 'nades). An example of where this matters is snipers. The hammer has higher DPS than the avenger because of its RoF. But if you want to kill an enemy in one shot, the avenger is the better weapon.
No thanks
