Niiice! :)
Looks really good.

I love the text descriptions in the chat box when you enter a new area.

Key word chat that lets you explore more dialogue or leave it as you please is something I'm glad to see. Voice acting can be great but it really restricts the amount of dialogue in a game.

The graphics look better than I anticipated.

The only thing is the perception cones on the enemies seem very narrow, but that's something that could easily be tweaked I imagine.

My issue with the Keyword dialog (aside from specificity problems that are easily surmounted) is that it seems like it'll cut down on reactivity. Sure, you can roleplay that you used the Help keyword in a nice way or a gruff way or an assholish way, but the NPC will react the same way no matter what.
To be honest, the video really exceeded my expectations. The amount of work effect and detail is actually quite astounding...
Tell me it surprised you guys as well :))

Aside from the keyword system (which I'm still a bit worried about but I'll get over it), it definitely exceeded my expectations!

I didn't watch all of the early gameplay video (maybe 5 minutes), but it looked really cool and I cannot wait to play this. It reminded me of Fallout Tactics a lot, which is one my favorite games of all-time. Bless KS!

Thanks, gonna have to try this mod the next time I get the desire to play FT!
I really like how the game looks so far. For such an early build the game already looks pretty fantastic. Is there room for improvement, you bet, but all in all Fargo seems to be taking things in good direction.
Video was awesome, I like how the skills have been implemented in a very practical and commonsense way in how they interact with the environment. Apart from that I have nothing to say, other than that I really want to play it!

Well, if the game is on track for October release then that means it's half finished, I'd say the video is a pretty accurate representation of how gameplay will be in final release. Then most of what their doing now is just content; making maps and coding quests.

Its still think its a a pretty good achievement (graphic wise esp)- my expectations were pretty low. Im just amazed at what they have done since the funding ended :)
Wasteland 2 first look video goes HD and moves to YouTube!
Update #24 · Feb. 16, 2013 · 1 comment

After about 190,000 views our original video was deleted by Vimeo. After two days of back and forth with them they apologized for the mistake and put it back up, but the link that went out with the last Kickstarter update is still broken.

We have since posted the video to our YouTube account, and there it shall stay! If you have not already seen it, you can see it here: Wasteland 2 First Look

We have had a bunch of requests this week for an HD version and we are happy to comply. For the full 1080 HD version use this link: Wasteland 2 First Look HD

The response to the video has been amazing so far, and we have been busy taking in all the feedback. Our goal with the video was to show some game-play and some of the systems that we have working already. It was in no way meant to be a comprehensive explanation of all the elements of the game, the video would have to be 4 hours long to do all that. But judging by your feedback many of you want to see more and to know more about how things work.

To that goal, we promise to continue to show our progress in both more videos and more blogs giving details about some of the game systems. Look for our next update with more information about the HUD, the camera system, and the dialog system next week. Thank you all for your continued support and enjoy the video in HD!
