The episodes start out pretty good. I will allow the first XX scene, but a lot of the episodes are focused on sex, which is fine for some gamers and non gamers. However, having played the series many times, all the sexuality takes away from the value of the game experience. Why couldn't they have stayed with what was actually in the game instead of appealing to those who thrive on excessive SMUT!

TBH Witcher 3 was a huge dissapointment after everyone raves about it. 2 was apparently not great (never got play my boxed edition as it wouldn’t run and never since went back). So best to stick with the only good thing about the whole franchise which is the first game.

Not sure I understand your complaints- are you complaining about the game being excessively smutty (which I guess it could be, for a game), or the netflix series being excessively smutty (which it is, but not excessively so, especially compared to other similar series).
The show's smuttiness is about equivalent to the game's.

The Netflix show is not an adaption of the games but of the novels and short stories. They seem to be pretty spot on interms of content so far.

Yes, the games are pretty close to the source material, comparing to the Netflix show.

Sex cards in Witcher 1 were great, they should show something like that at the end of every episode of the series.

I forget....did the original game cut or censor those for some versions or not? I seem to recall vaguely that was a bit of a sticky wicket back when the game came out.....or I might be misremembering.

I vaguely recall they were censored in some countries (Australia? am too lazy to google it now), but I've only played the Gog version (and only about three years ago or so), and they're in it, totally uncensored.

Yeah, I think it was mainly the physical editions(and maybe digital) to certain countries.

Yup....I remember years back(maybe 10+?) when Janet Jackson's bre*st popped out on live TV for the super bowl.....news channels and overprotective parents nationwide were acting like all hell had broken loose and their kids had been traumatized for LIFE.

Yet on the same tack, we played footage of the twin towers being hit and collapsing on news stations throughout the nation & portrayed it in tv & film and many were seemingly fine with people seeing it(including their kids).

So yeah....essentially:

T*tty on tv: BAD
Destroyed buildings and planes and carnage on the same tvs: Good

I do it to say what I want without offending those opposed to bad language so much or gog complaining about overly bad language.

I feel it is a good example...both were on TV and parents(on average/in general) seemed to be more ok with their kids seeing the 9/11 footage than their kids seeing a bare breast.

That said, unless you can state and show why you think it was a false equivalency/show proof of such I will have to assume you have no good argument to support your stance.
