I'm going to dispel the notion of sex being equal or more acceptable than violence on TV once & for all:

Killing, maiming & overall dismemberment is a wholesome activity that can be enjoyed AS A FAMILY.

Argue with that.

Cambrey: I have never read any of The Witcher books, only played the original game.
You mean the first game in the series? Luckily for you it doesn't have many connections to the book events (no Yennifer, no Ciri, from Nilfgaard there are only a few traders), otherwise it would be a pain for you to watch how most of characters and themes are distorted and dumbed down.

Interestingly enough, games are far closer to the books in terms of lore than the series.
