Whomever backed this "project" on Kickstarter might want to report this to the Better Business Bureau, you don't have to be a resident of the U.S. or Canada to do so. Another forum member, who's name unfortunately escapes me at this moment; posted in his blog how to do so in regard to the Banner Saga devs not keeping their word about making available all 3 parts availble DRM free. I suppose one can do more or less the same process, just substitute the relevant information.
