jon1138: Yeah it's English audio for all and subtitles in english, french or german.
Final question: you wouldn't care to post a short instruction on how to change the language?
Something like "go into options, enable subtitles, and choose the language", or whatever applies - using the same terms the game uses.

Of course : go to the Flight Control room, then activate the Main Terminal, click on "Controls", and now you can select the subtitles language !

AaronAmoth: Are you sure it works? Did you try? It should works ONLY on an old CD version.
I try the patch and it does not run on Gog version. I'm sorry, please don't mention this as a translation.
Have anyone german language packs for broken sword 3 or jack orlando?

Right, thanks for checking it.

Update: added a "requests" section, for translations that has been asked about but not satisfied yet (as far as I know).
Added: Little Big Adventure (languages listed, method unknown).
Because of the current sale I checked some subforums and found a thread about getting german or french text for Independece War 1. From another thread I know this works only for base game, because for the expansion the language files are missing.

I'm so free to quote Ravenger in shortform from this thread:
" ...you can create a shortcut directly to the games executable like you said and use the French or German languages that way. To use the 3Dfx Glide rendering you just need to add -b -16 to the shortcut command line as well as -german or -french. "

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/independence_war_series/german_and_french_language/post2

I don't know how relevant the glide suffixes are, so I kept that information.

It seems GOG already applies the "-b -16" switches (or something else equivalent) through their custom-made iwar_start.exe, at least the colours get messed up for me if I try to launch the main game without them.

Thanks, I'll type up an instruction.

Edit: There, list and GOGMix updated with Independence War.

Awesome, now go dig up info on how the language is chosen (or I may do it, the game does look interesting, and it's only 5.99 after all). I'd guess it's one of these:
* Installer
* In-game settings
* Bundled setup application

Earlier, the GOG gamecard only acknowledged the first of those, but recently they've been including the latter two as well (though not manually editing files or moving files/folders around).

As before, if the case is one of the latter two, a slightly more thorough instruction would be helpful.

It's a normal installation, you choose the language ingame directly after the first start. Tested so far with german and had no problems with menus and voice. There were no subtitles, but I didn't checked if I can activate them. Will maybe also do this later, but not very likely today.

Edit: Okay, quickboot ;-) You can change and mix languages in the options for the menu, voices and subtitles. That's great, because now I can play with original english voices and german subtitles.
