PookaMustard: Horse armor anyone?
The horse disagrees.
The Joker Carnival DLC for Batman Arkham City was pretty laughable. This has to be a joke, right?
amok: "Beard and Hairstyle Set for Geralt - Customize Geralt of Rivia to your liking with this amazing set of beards and hairstyles."
"Triss alternative costume - Love to play dress up? Now you can with this exclusive new look for Triss Merigold."
"Alternative Look for Ciri - Mix things up with this new and finely crafted outfit for Ciri."
"New Finisher Animations - Slay your foes in new brutal and spectacular ways with this visceral and adrenaline-pumping DLC!"
At least all those DLCs are free, so you get some cheap laughs there.
I guess the point of the OP was for some DLCs for which you have to pay extra, but I'm sure you already knew that. No one complains about "laughable mods" either, as long as said mods are free. Now Valve is trying to change that though. :)
KiNgBrAdLeY7: Darksiders 2 DLC. They OVERDID it, in one word. Not only they were cut into numerous, tiny pieces, mutilated and scattered around, not only they had initially preorder DLC and EXCLUSIVE dlc, some of it tied to different vendors even worse, but it was practically IMPOSSIBLE, to gather the entire game, in one package, with a fair price.
My main problem originally was trying to even understand from the vague Darksiders 2 DLC descriptions whether I'd want the DLC or not. Hence I prefer all-in-one packages, like the GOG version of Darksiders 2. I'll make up my mind about the usefulness of different DLCs while I play them.
It seems I was not the only one, there were even online tutorials written by other gamers about the various Darksiders 2 DLCs, what was their purpose etc. It seems it was confusing for many others as well. Deciding whether to buy a game is hard enough as it is, no reason to extend that to little micro-expansions for the base game (other than deliberately confusing the customers so that many of them would break down and buy all the DLCs anyway, for a premium price).
