Celton88: The discounts have been all over the place. A bunch of discounts have said hey are 75 or 85% off but they are much less than that. Honestly, it's making me nervous and I'm not likely to spend more money until it gets sorted out.
I've noticed that, especially with the recommended games on the personal promo page. That's why I checked my wishlist each day because these discounts are always "correct" (minus better discounts from bundle deals). Today I found the price and discount of TL II changed for no given reason. If this was one of the "oh it shouldn't have had this price anyway" errors...well I think it was up since the first day of the sale. Pretty late change.
GOG Connect doesn't recognize Metro 2033 Redux on my acc although I own both Metro, normal and Redux versions. Even tried to log out and in. Privacy settings are OK. I really wanted Metro on GOG but I fell very ashamed of bothering support for a free game
This is kind of ridiculous. I just saw that you have Sins of Solar Empire Rebellion Ultimate Edition on Connect. The only thing i miss is the Soundtrack which doesn't make me eligible. And i am not really interested in the soundtrack either.

This is so frustrating!

Wurzelkraft: The discount for Torchlight II was changed from -85% to -66%. I was about to buy it at the end of the sale (since it won't appear in GOG Connect apparently) but that's just messed up. I thought all discounts would remain the same for the whole duration.

I was just coming to post the same thing.

Almost bought a couple games until I got to the game page and 85% discount was only 50% :/
I'm checking back here once in a while to see if there's an official reply about the discount changes, and/or in case it's announced that the changes are reversed before the sale ends.

That's a display bug, and it mostly (though apparently not entirely) presents in the recommended games section on the "my promo status" page; the actual price seems to be correct in such cases, with only the discount percentage being erroneous.
The problem with the Torchlight games, on the other hand, is that the actual price changed unexpectedly (and not in the good direction :) ).

Niggles: Can we get an official comment about the discount changes to Torchlight 1+2 ?
"It was just a prank, bro!"
Yeah, I agree that the discounts should not change during the promotion - unless previously announced as volatile, which they weren't. :|

I am always happy to see so many games on sale and I am very thankful for the opportunity to get great games cheaper, but we should have been made familiar with such details of the sale, so that we can act accordingly. I also would have bought Torchlight II if I knew that there was a possibility that the discount would change - especially for the worse. :/

We would appreciate a heads up in such instances if they were to arise in the future, definitely. :)

Similar things have happened during previous sales where everything was supposed to stay for the whole sale. I think in some cases games even lost their discount entirely. Probably just the result of a mistake being made on GOG's end that they have no choice but to fix.

It would still be nice to get a response on the issue. I think the community as a whole is pretty forgiving, but GoG has to at least acknowledge the mistake. This lack of communication is starting to wear on me. This happens with their contests sometimes too. They announce various prizes, but never announce the winners.

See Zombie Night Terror for an example.

truhlik: Any tip for eternal "YOU ARE QUEUED FOR GOG CONNECT..."?
I waited for couple of hours, but without any result.

Vovchigus: Same problem here with "YOU ARE QUEUED FOR GOG CONNECT...". Also contacted support. Still no answer.
Hope GOG can fix it before GOG Connect time runs out.
Thanks for reply.
I've contacted support. So lets see if they fix it before gog connect session finishes.

I have it on steam, but I was planning to buy it to here when I saw 85% discount... Now that the discount have changed, I'll have to skip it... :(

Even IF you have the soundtrack it doesn't count. You don't own the Ultimate Edition which likely has another SteamID or they f-ed it up entirely. Ask Stardock why they punish early adopters which bought the maingame and the DLCs fpr a higher price ...

kokosabre: That moment when you have money.. and the sale gives you motivation to spend... but sadly you already own Dex and Victor Vran and will keep your wallet close and wait for Xmas sale.
This^ It's a double edged sword to have a gog library of 422 games as you'll most likely already have the free games offered!

Me, I didn't have "EXPEDITIONS: CONQUISTADOR" , so that's nice! But yeah, blew my wad on some items as I still have a lengthy wish-list!

As far as connect is concerned, I pretty much have them all here already as I buy any steam titles that I own (Or don't) pretty much by default if it's already offered here!...Because, fuck steam, the only reason that I use it is that it's forced on us if we want any newer titles!

iRevolt: What's with Torchlight Series discount change all of the sudden ?

Now its 66% off instead of 85% off. Guess it'll wait when, I hope for some insight on this. Thx.
My guess is that's due to friction from the developers, as gog is in very close contact with them (And developers in general) especially due to the DRM free nature of this site!

Celton88: I think it is a big deal. I shouldn't have to check the discounts in the cart to ensure the line up with what I saw. Especially if the discount ends up being less than expected.
The issue seems to have been fixed. Now, all the discounts show up correctly at the promo status page.
