Anyone should have been able to realize that no jailer means there is some other town PR in play which would automatically know you are lying about your claim. What do we do with liars, again?

Well, that seems uncharacteristically harsh of you.

About the only person in this game who might have gotten away with "I didn't know we (almost) always lynch liars!" is gogtrial. And I'd still look at him hard.

If Drealmer truly thought that Jailkeeper was not in the game, then he must have thought that at least one of Cop/Doctor/Tracker are in the game. If any of those three are in the game, then they would immediately know that Jailer is NOT in the game, and that Drealmer is lying about being a jailer.

If he was the 10th role, then town Drealmer should have claimed the 10th role. I see no good rationale for fake claiming the way he did in such a restricted setup.

It may seem harsh, but his claimed thought process has an awful lot of holes for someone who should know better on multiple accounts.

At the time he claimed, I was about halfway through with rereading the thread, specifically looking at him and nacho from a "possible scum" perspective, figuring out which wagon I should join. My conclusions up to that point were that I believed him to be town. I saw "despair", but I bought it as town-originated.
If he had been town, I don't believe scum would've left him alive; a successful roleblock/protect by him would give us far too much information for scum to want to risk it. (Is that too simplistic? I know my werewolf experience doesn't carry over 1:1, but that definitely held in the games I've played wrt the seer, and although this particular information wouldn't be quite as clear as what a seer would know, it certainly should be a big deal.)

I was, and I believed his claim yesterday so I didn't vote again. What I'm saying now is we should have lynched him yesterday after what's happened.
