As I stated, the serial key from the Steam version can be registered at Taleworlds to download a DRM free edition of the game. It's what I wound up doing after I was gifted the DLC via GG, which would not work with the Steam version. So it is still available DRM-free from Steam, but in a roundabout way. I wouldn't totally dismiss it on the list.
