Nice!
Time to port more games I guess…
Divine Divinity & SteamWorld Dig got added to the mix!
Please tell me what you think of the new way the instructions are presented ;)
Looks like mortalius just can’t stop coding, as he just gave us a new script for Terraria!
A new day, a new supported game: here you go for Pier Solar and the Great Architects!
(once again mortalius’ work)
Some nice strategy in a fantasy world to give the week a good start, with Age of Wonders!
The ./play.it has just seen an important step: its API is now stable!
It means that any script you might write today will stay compatible with future versions of the play-anything.sh library without any need to modify said scripts.

No more excuses to not try to write your own scripts for yet-to-be-supported games, and of course share them here afterwards so I can add them to the project ;)

And if you don’t feel comfortable with the idea of writing new scripts, your help is still welcome for an easier task: to update the scripts that doesn’t use the play-anything.sh library yet. These are the scripts which usage guide is still on GOG forums instead of a dedicated page on the Debian-Facile wiki.

Another task that is in need of contributors: the translation of the scripts’ console feedback in more languages. So if you speak fluently in another language than English or French, please give me a heads up and I’ll guide you through the process of writing a new translation for these scripts feedback.

Thanks in advance for your future contributions to this project ;)

Let’s game!

PS: An IRC channel is open if you need some help to write your scripts, or if you just feel curious and want to have a peak behind the curtains.
server: irc.freenode.org
channel: #play.it
Game got released yesterday, scripts are already there: the long awaited Shadworun: Hong Kong!
What about a true classic to spend the week-end?
Here you go for Fallout!

Hey, it’s hard to find a game to support after Fallout…
Except maybe if said game is Fallout 2?
What about some puzzles to chill out after all these RPG?
Here you go with World of Goo!
