Firewatch. I love Firewatch. Again, I understand how the "purist" GOG users hate it, because the "purist" GOG user hates everything that isn't Baldur's Gate or Deus Ex.

Firewatch was the game that taught me to wait for a GOG release, when it comes to contemporary indie games. I bought it on Steam and loved it to death, actually believing it would never arrive on GOG. To my surprise, one or two months later, here it was. I've been waiting for it to hit GOG Connect ever since release (I own 30 games on Steam, opposed to my 640 titles on GOG, and Firewatch is the only game I wanted to get on Connect), but, finally, I gave up and just bought it. Heck, Campo Santo definitely deserve my money, not only because they made an awesome game, but because of their recent stance regarding the douche that is PewDiePie.

[EDIT] I own 640 games on GOG, not 340.

NBA 2K18 Legend Edition, pre-ordered some time in early august.
Easily the most shocking and extreme example of corporate greed and microtransaction milking of all time...

SteamWorld Dig 2, since I loved the first one. So far, I'm having a blast, but I miss playing as Rusty... I'm not really interested in SteamWorld Heist, even though it's by the same devs. Tactical stuff and turn-based gameplay is just not for me. It's a shame, because I do love the art style and the humour.

Since I had enough GOG Wallet credit to get it for free, I also nabbed The Park.
V-Rally 3 for the GameCube. Have the PC version, but it sucks donkeyballs (missing shadows, poor lighting, poor controls).

Otherwise Stories: The Path of Destinies on GOG.
Inquisitor - several hours before Licurg recommended it. :-D

this place seriously needs him back
Purchased the recently released Cuphead. As someone who grew up playing the Metal Slug games in the arcades, I feel that I'm ready for it, and I'm pretty sure I won't pull a Dean Takahashi, at least.

I have been playing the awesome Hob non-stop, though, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to give Cuphead a go.

I just purchased Battle Chasers: Nightwar. I could have pre-ordered it, but, to be honest, "good old gamers" (particularly people in these forums) make me feel really bad for pre-ordering, like I'm part of a cancer that's "killing the video game industry".

I'm a huge fan of Joe "Mad" Madureira's work, and I have all the Battle Chasers comics collected volumes that were sold here in Portugal displayed proudly on my shelves. I admit I'm not all that into JRPG-style turn-based party combat, but as a major Battle Chasers fan, I simply *had* to buy this game. I have been waiting for more stuff in this series ever since the late 90's, so any Battle Chasers, JRPG-style or not, is better than none.
I've been trying not to post as much in here, since this feels like it's basically my own thread, at this point, but during this time I've bought three SNK NEO GEO games (Sengoku 3, Garou: Mark of the Wolves and Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad), the Grim Dawn - Ashes of Malmouth DLC/expansion, A Hat in Time and, yesterday, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, from the Bethesda RPG sale.

I'm now 16 games away from having 666 titles on GOG. :P
Do bundles count?
The Witcher 3 GOTY; price was right, though backlog is crazy.
A collection of FEAR games on steam that were on a very good special. Finished the 1st one recently and can't wait to get to its expansion and sequel.

What I really want to buy at the moment is cuphead, but I'm going to wait for a halloween/christmas special
Since the last time I posted in this thread (October 2017), my GOG library of games has grown exponentially; I was 16 titles shy of 666, and now I own 845 games in here...

Since it's been too long, I'll just post the latest 15 games I bought here on GOG (no point at all in mentioning Steam or other stores, since I only purchase games here). In order:

- Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition;
- Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee;
- Dungeon Keeper 2;
- Escape from Monkey Island;
- Shivers;
- Devil Daggers;
- Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri;
- Gone Home;
- Red Faction Guerilla Re-Mars-tered (ugh...);
- SiN Gold;
- Through the Woods;
- Remothered: Tormented Fathers;
- Waxworks (I don't know why it took me this long);
- Songbringer;
- Death's Gambit (pre-order);

(I also won Police Quest: SWAT 1+2 during a GOGcom twitch giveaway, and a GOG friend gifted me Tales of Monkey Island.)
