In fact, people should be suspicious towards the person who first told me, I have to right to share my opinion on something in this forum because that is a good thing to say to someone if you want to piss him or her off.

Because I'm new, my name in langurmonkey and I have only 30 rep. The other GOG members I was arguing with, all have a much better reputation than me, so you calling one of them an infamous troll who is back , doesn't make sense.

I made a new thread on the rep subject if people want to move there.

I liked gamerager. Usually was up for a good debate.

Anyway.. in this case, both have kinda valid points but it indeed it is so that person who gifts something gifts it whoever he or she wants to, there's no need for bitching afterwards.

There really are plenty of people gifting here, some other than others and sometimes you get a game by asking.
Some people enjoy making others happy and those weird competitions and hopefully someone who deserves anything wins. But with this scammer thing out of proportion I don't think that it ever be as fun again.

Where the hell anyway in some forum you can complain about not winning a free game.

That "fight" is deadlock. Nobody budges and how could they, opinions make us who we are if we don't want to be total sheeps.

I though this thread was about scammers, not about people who are gifting stuff, whatever their requirements are.

You call it bitching. I call it sharing my thoughts. You say there is no need but I think you are wrong. This is a forum. This is a place to share thoughts. I think people need to stop overreacting to people who disagree with them by telling them, they have no right to say this, they are bitching, they are this, they are that. There is no reason not to be civil and I know that many times in the past, I have been guilty of being hostile towards people just because they said something I didn't agree with. But I now see that is wrong. Not good behavior for a forum.

I used to have to go to other forums to get my daily dose of drama and rage.

Now I can get that from GOG.

Alot of people were discussing how they could make sure the scammer doesn't end up with more codes. A minimum rep count was what people came up with.

There's nothing to stop someone making a giveaway for people only under 100 rep.

Yes, thoughts, nothing wrong with that. You have all the right share those. You didn't like those rules? I myself would have liked if I had seen the competition sooner before it closed so that I could have entered. But I'll get over it. =)
