All he's saying is that they could be (dimensional gateways to other universes) - and even that our universe may be on the other end of a black hole. There's no direct evidence against it and it may fit already existing cosmological models. But, to be honest, I'd be surprised if our civilization will ever reach a point were this can be scientifically proven.

One other thing I noticed: The topic title has a typo. (Either that, or the topic creator doesn't understand the difference between "lose" and "loose".)
