Good to know I don't have to dig for clues in the code or play with white balance to read invisible ink..
And thanks for the tip, now even more people appears on my list : D

I don't use chat a lot, but seems to work okay for me. The only issue I've seen with it is it will sometimes load really slow and on Firefox I will see the code that makes up the chat system for a few seconds before it loads the chat system. Not an issue really, it just looks crappy.

The problem with the double messages is that it does not happen in a fashion that can be reproduced as far as I noticed. And it is not like the messages are really sent two times. It just appears like that, if the chat is refreshed the second message is gone.

I have the feeling this happens when the whole site is slow with loading and everything. But it seems not to be a connection issue, I tested that already when this double chats occured and connection was fine.

Johny.: Emachine9643's start conversation page doesn't show in GOGbear - it shows 404 error. I don't know why for this moment.
Could this be caused by user name changes? I think I got this with another user, but got around it by putting their old name in the URL. Seems to affect wishlists as well... Not sure about friend requests, I guess just sent Emachine9643 one.

Btw, is there a difference between employees and "GOG.com Team" members? I've added a bunch of the latter to my chat (FOR SCIENCE!) but only a few have the is_employee flag set to "true". Basically, what I'm asking is: are you being kept as a slave?

I know it only appears like that, because we pushed a fix for that yesterday. :) I was able to reproduce it doing some POST/GET order simulation in the code. So it's even more weird people are writing about this today. NaN also is weird - but I did receive a mail with doubling messages and NaN happening around 7 hours ago. Maybe it was temporary?

Does anyone have doubling messages or NaN dates now?

According to the time stap of my chat messages, I had this problem 14h ago. Not sure how long it lasted since I went offlline shortly after that. Today I saw no double messages yet.

We all have to start somewhere lol. My first experience was a bent out of shape VHS tape of The Holy Grail. Man we were very confused that day. My friend and I watched it three times in a row just to get some sense out of it. >_< classic.
