Bookwyrm627: Huh. And how would you know that?
Lifthrasil: Perhaps from the screenshot of the original post that he saved? ... Which was discussed at the end of the previous and at the start of this game?
I never saw your Post 20, and I've made a point to play without asking for it. Kind of interesting to be running with this asymmetrical information among players. I don't know exactly what you saw, so I can't judge it for myself.
Lifthrasil: And that feeling is strengthened by the fact that it is you, another good scum candidate, who defends him. Illogical? Maybe. But my gut reaction is: oh, Bookwyrm is maybe defending his scumbuddy.
So the concept is that Scum Micro and I came up with a plot to place him in 50/50 chance of dying, in the hopes of killing Yog-in-particular?
There's a few issues with that.
-First and foremost is that it kills Micro before N3 with no chance of securing a win for us. If we were in LYLO, then yeah, I might try that to just win, and if it fails then I figure out something to finish up solo. As things stand, this sacrifices half the scum team without winning us the game, when we could simply...not do that and still have it as an option for LYLO where it possibly COULD secure us the game.
-Second: why Yog? If I wanted him dead that badly, I'd just NK him. If I were making this play at this stage, I'd pick someone more vulnerable to have the best chance of Micro winning the duel and then hope that maybe we can slide Micro out on D3. I think Catte or Pooka would have made much better targets for the play.
Lifthrasil: @All: what do you think? Should we keep discussing for a few RL days? Or should we get the standoff sorted out rather sooner than later to make quicker progress in the game? After all, it should be one of the two today and no amount of discussion will change that.
I'm a fan of not dragging it out if there's nothing to be gained. If there are particular questions, then by all means, get them answered, but after that, quit dragging.
