We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Find what you're looking for faster, easier, and with style.

As some of you have already noticed, today we launched an overhauled navigation system for GOG.com. The goal is simple: to make it faster, simpler, and better for you to explore our store and find what you're looking for.

Browsing our catalog has never been easier: mouse over the Store tab for a neat dropdown menu that contains ongoing sales, a detailed breakdown of our games categories, and several top-tier suggestions.
To bring our games closer to you, we've also made several improvements to our search engine, so locating the title you're after should be much more straightforward now. Those accessing our store through mobile will notice that these changes have dramatically improved their experience, as well.

But that's not all! If you want to reach Support, interact with the Community, or manage your Account, you'll find that the intuitive dropdown menus make for a much more fluid experience, saving you time that could be spent playing your favorite games!

Your account name and avatar are now clearly visible on top at all times, so you can tell at a glance if you're logged in and on which account. Last but not least, redeeming gift codes and switching between languages or currencies is now more readily available with no need to scroll to the bottom of the page.

Enjoy!

HiddenAsbestos: Discover 'RPG Games' :(
What's wrong with roleplaying game games? They're so deliciously meta. ;)
They could, of course, just fill that section with modern military action games, and pretend they always meant it to stand for "rocket-propelled grenade games". ;D

HiddenAsbestos: Can you make it say 'Role Playing' ? (Like you made a special case for Shooters)
What kind of sense would that make? Everyone knows that RPGs have nothing to do with "role-playing"; they're all about number-crunching, leveling up, killing anything that looks even mildly suspicious, and robbing entire towns blind.
Oh, and ridiculous, fan-service-y armor. =)
My first impression is positive.

But where are the notifications for updates, chat and forum replies? And can I get rid of the links to Twitter and Facebook? I'm sure I'll never use them.
Please let this mean the (1) for updates is gone
high rated
I am in the minority here as I can read but I still absolutely hate it - completely!

1) I hate the black and white gog logo (was changed with BE script which does not work anymore).
2) I hate the black and white colour which actually feels depressing and dated instead of fresh and sporty for me.
3) Hate the darkening of the site whenever I chose a menu item.
4) Hate that there is now much space in between the two rightmost buttons and everything before.
5) Hate that I have to see my avatar and nickname in caps instead of account.
6) Hate the way the menu structure is now.
7) Hate the purple bar above the black bar even more.

I'm sure adaliabooks or BarefootMonkey will do something about those.
Also the screen moves dramatically after I click. Twice I clicked on outlast when u tried to click on the news post about this.

Lastly, I like that it showed me my movies and games count. I totally forgot I owned movies. Must have been on bundles or freebies. I remember watching one of them ages ago.

Oh, one last last last thing. It would be awesome if there was a play button on the top of the screen and we could stream of collections' soundtracks while we surfed gog.

Dibs!
Yay, that is much simpler, clearly laid out, bravo, something you should of done years ago...
I'm finding it much simpler, so thank you :)
See? Always room for improvement. Great job, guys.

Cheers!!

Grargar: Still not able to search for "Eye of the Beholder". Oh well, maybe with the next menu bar update.
To GOG: Try doing it like Wikipedia (MediaWiki): If there is no title match, offer a full text search. Though I would limit it to the game description.

It almost gave me a heart attack- with that purple strip at the top and initially the only news being the one about Galaxy update, at first I thought this is some Galaxy-being-integrated-into-everything nightmare.
It's nice, but it's still inexplicably missing some very fundamental features that force me to rely on third party sites. For example, you still can't sort lists by price or by discount (percentage or absolute). You still can't filter out games that the customer already owns. Unless there's something terribly wrong with how you store your data, these should be trivially simple to implement.

So, whenever I do serious shopping, even if I intend to buy on GOG, I still have to go through IsThereAnyDeal.com to build a usable query... on YOUR data!

Someone should be very embarrassed by that.
Nice improvements, but still no option to sort the user reviews (by date and rating).
Make navigation bar at the top collapsible or something, and don't force caps on nicknames.
For me god improvment.Thanks GoG

dtgreene: One other issue: There's currently no way to check your gog friend list.
There is, actually.
Go to the dropdown menu which appears when you move the cursor to the tab which has your username (it's all in caps, so it shows: DTGREENE), click at "Chat", and then where it says "FRIENDS", or just enter this address in your browser and press the enter key:

https://www.gog.com/account/friends
