UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
This is really good offer. I hate steam client.
Not having luck.
I changed my profile to public and it still isn't detecting anything.

I'm pretty damn sure that I have many of the game on that list.
I finally got it to work on the one game I didn't have duplicated already. Took two attempts though...

haydenaurion: Only 5 days to redeem some of those? Seems a bit lacking compared to Humble imo.
Look at it like this. They could have left you the ONLY option of buying it AGAIN here. So be glad you have other options now.
I just checked my Humble account and found a key for Breach and Clear Deadline. I just activated it on Steam, and then used GOG connect to activate here. Finding and activating the game on GOG took less than a minute.

Yeah, I'm glad to have the opportunity to add games for free. I check the site regularly for new releases and sales. I just see the limited GOG Connect games as another potential surprise.

I have about five games in Steam from the games on GOG Connect list, none of them where found by the page to be possible to be got in GOG with GOG Connect.

How does one change the privacy setting in for the account in Steam? I checked the settings but didn't see any place to change that?
If only Trine 2+3 were part of Connect and not just on sale.

Click on view profile, then click edit profile. On the right side of the screen, click my privacy settings.

MaximumBunny: So I added the games to my account finally. But I have Galactic Civ 3 Founder's Edition on Steam which includes all content past present and future. Is this content included in the move? It doesn't look like I own these on GOG according to the store pages and I'm unable to find out if I do.
See here (posts 1 and 2):

I have a Steam account with some games, pretty much all from Humble Bundles - GOG Connect isn't detecting any of them.

It should be recognising Bit.Trip Runner, Braid, Saints Row 2, Surgeon Simulator 2013 and VVVVVV, but no luck. Profile not set to private.
You guys are awesome! Great work. Thanks.

Just set them to connect then come back in a few hours. Mine took about 5 hours to register.

Ok, I don't understand. The first day I can't login with my gog account, now I can login, but when try to connect with Steam the page loops (infinity) trying to enter the site steam-sync.gog.com, ping the site, and did not response.
Hoping to see Deus Ex, Quake series and Doom avalaible with Gog connect

I know, wishful thinking

as a fellow elite founder I can answer the question. short version: you only get the base game. Long version: If you are willing to do some cut/paste work, you can get all current DLC working (not the same as the DLC showing as owned but it'll do the job). I'll PM you the details for what to copy over.
Worked flawlessly for my GoG. Added 7 games to my account from Steam. Totally awesome I say!!!
