UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

Did Surgeon Simulator just get added? I added 6 games yesterday and this one just came up today.

Too bad I don't have the full meal deal of SoaSE Rebellion. I don't have the DLCs or the soundtrack so I can't match it here. Oh well.

timppu: I've done that now already like dozen times. Still says I have no eligible games, which in my case should be Braid, Bit Trip Runner and Breach & Clear: Deadline.

I've already set Profile Status, Comment Permission and Inventory to "Public" in Steam account My Privacy Settings, and even unchecked the box Keep your Steam Gift inventory private. Still nothing.

Meteor of War: Two days now I keep trying and my Steam account is connected but keeps saying NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND.

I have at least 3 games that are eligible. Yes, my Steam profile is set to public. What the hell else do I have to do??
My situation is the same as the above two users: accounts are connected, steam settings are all public, and I previously purchased on Steam at least one game that is supposed to be available, but the GOG Connect page still says NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND.

1) Meanwhile, the FAQ reads: "The API used for this process supports a limited amount of calls on any given day. You may be placed in a queue before your accounts are connected." Since I've already connected the accounts, I assume this does not apply to me.

2) Clicking the REFRESH button under NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND presents the following message:
"Due to exceedingly high demand, processing the queue may take up to several days. Don't worry, you will be able to add your games regardless of the wait. You can close this page now. Return later to manually add the games to your library."

^This is where the confusion comes from. No one knows what "processing the queue" means. The queue of what? The queue for what? I suggest adding an entry in the FAQ along the lines of:

Q: My accounts are connected, and I'd previously purchased eligible game(s) on Steam, but no "Import Games" is visible on the GOG Connect page. Why?
A: It may take up to several days to detect Steam games so that they may be imported into your GOG library. Once found, an option to import them will be available on the GOG Connect page.

^BTW, does clicking refresh again bump you to the back of the queue? If so, add a message saying that the button only needs to be clicked once.

^BTW, there is no "Import Games" button visible at all if no games are deemed eligible. I suggest making this button visible to all and graying it and making it unclickable for those who can't use it. Otherwise, you wouldn't even know to look for it unless you read the FAQ.

3) While it's likely of little significance, I've removed my endorsement of GOG Connect from Facebook due to the confusing presentation of this offer.

Unless Steam is going under (HA) I don't see how this benefits GOG in any way. It just costs them a bunch of repurchase sales.

No it hasn't.
The publishers are granting us, the software license holders, access to a license (which they've already effectively been paid for) for a version of the software which is available via gog.

GoG are acting as intermediaries
I have a question :

In the FAQ we can read :

If I no longer have the game in my Steam library, do I still keep it on GOG.com?
Answer : If a game is removed from your Steam account for any reason, such as through manual deletion or a refund – we reserve the right to remove the games from your GOG.com library.

So, does this mean that we have to permanently leave our Steam profile privacy setting to "public", otherwise we may lose the games because gog couldn't check anymore that we still have them ?

I think 99% that there is no problem to left the steam profile as private, or friends only, after the process.
Still, if you have to leave again as public for another new bunch of games to import to gog library, then, probably, will be a check.
I don't have much interest in the current supported games seeing as i have played my fill of the games i own already, what i am interested in is the games that have issues on Steam, for example; i've been wanting to finish Beyond Good and Evil ever since i played it on release but the current state of the Steam version is nigh on unplayable on a modern OS. That said i do not buy games twice for the same platform as a matter of principle, that includes ultimate edition and enhanced editions, so while i've been really wanting to get the GoG version several times i just couldn't bring myself to pay for the same game twice, i'd rather never finish it than paying for it twice, guess i'm stubborn like that.

But yeah, great initiative, i hope Beyond Good and Evil gets added to that list at some point.
Just to report, that it now saw and connected the 6 games I have on my steam account.

It took a good 3 hours maybe or more, after I set the account to public. But now all is good :)
And yet, as yesterday, I can't even try to log my steam account. I click on 'Connect you accounts' and it loads, and loads and so on... until it time outs. Anyone had something similar?
You know. I never expected this to happen...
Great move GOG, absolutely fantastic! :D

Death_Masta187: I own Trine Enchanted Edition & Shadowrun Returns on steam but both are listed as "unavailable" when I connect my steam account to gog. :(

omega64: Is your Steam Profile set to public?
If yes, just give it some time.
If no, change it,
Thanks, That worked.
So excited about this. :D Now I can stop wasting money on re-purchasing games, and spend it only on new ones I'm excited about, a definite plus. :)
