Rise from the ashes of a dying world

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, an open-world ARPG where you will be able to shapeshift into highly customizable forms, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Humanity appears to be at the twilight of its reign over this world. You, on the other hand, are growing in power, exhibiting a (un)natural proficiency in wielding magic. For that you will be feared, persecuted, hunted. But your formidable talents will help you survive long enough to come across an enigmatic sect of Templars who wish to recruit you. Soon your path will become clearer, but your trials and tribulations are going to grow harder still.

WOLCEN Studio turned to early access so that they can gather precious feedback on their ambitious project and sustain its independent development. Thanks to CRYENGINE's power, the game's visuals already look captivating, as do the spectacular spell combos that will be at the core of Wolcen's gameplay. The developers admit that a lot of the intended content, including the Apocalyptic Forms, is still absent from the game but, similar to the protagonist, it is constantly growing and morphing into an impressive beast.

Expose the horrifying truth behind mankind's gradual extinction in the epic tale of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Look nice.Another Rpg:)
Lovely graphics, as many games have these days. Hopefully the devs will make something unique about the experience so that it stands out from the slew of fantasy RPGs already on the market.

A regionally priced Kickstarted early access title with only single player.
Hmm nah, I'll wait.
Does this game has anything to do with recent Cryengine Bundle?
As a ARPG fan sooner or later I am going to play it anyway. Insta wishlisted.

Hmmm, it does look pretty and it appears that development is going in the right direction. Would support them if my finances allowed me to. Wishlisting for now.

Smannesman: only single player.
Several GOGgers consider that a plus or at least are indifferent to multiplayer, you know. I for one care much more for single player and in the eventual situation that I'd play with friends I already have plenty of games to fill that need (ARPGs included).

Hmm? I seem to miss the connection there between the two comments. Not trying to be a smartarse, just curious as to how the one inspired the other. Is it because the camera is too far away to make such customisations visually relevant?

On a separate note, that ax in the main graphic is possibly one of the most impractical weapon designs I've seen since a dagger made of Parmesan cheese.

I wouldn't have a dagger of Parmesan cheese for very long. I'd soon have a belly full of Parmesan cheese, and be fighting barehanded. That might be the best way to wield a dagger of Parmesan cheese anyways.

Now that you mention it that's something that should be shown in a more unmistakable way. But I won't be as harsh as you are - it's still in development after all.

It works best with the Glove Of Grating. This lets you reduce the dagger to a fine powder for temporarily blinding foes, as well as to distract them with deliciously topped pasta and salads.
I much prefer single player game so ...wishlisted for now.
I already own this game on Steam and i'm not in a hurry to play it.

Next month for sure ^^
