When replying to a message in this thread, I noticed something really bizarre occur in a split second in the 'reply' window. It seemed like the quote string changed on the fly as if it were removed upon reply.

What bizarre trickery is this? I've captured the change in video and showed the two frames I captured where the difference occurred.
