perhaps you need to update some windows library. Did galaxy works for you?

I had a similar problem a few days ago, even made a thread but other users said it worked for them. I simply wasn't able to login with downloader, wrong password error every time, i am sure it was correct, as manually testing login worked

Now it work again, but with this new thread about galaxy:

That is a must because I lose my connection constantly.

Not deliberate necessarily, I've understood that the downloader isn't supported at all and is a legacy product.

No. I have two-factor authentication and the downloader works. It also keeps working if I close the browser and are not logged in to GOG at all (i.e. it stores it's own login).

It's still working for me . And I am generally using it instead of Galaxy . Because I am only interested with downloading and backup :D

I see this thread is still active. So GoG downloader still broken Galaxy and direct downloads working without any problems. I couldn't solve it's problem but it's ok I moved to direct download I'm happy with that :)
