pezhead53: Wow, there seem to be a lot more "Junior Adventurers" out there than I thought. Well fortunately, our wait may almost be over. The other day I sent an e-mail to Nimbus wondering why things had been rather quiet from them lately (lack of newsletters, little/no social media presence since mid-January).
They sent me this response:
"Colin,
Thank you for your email and concern.
We are in the midst of a large distribution agreement, which means we are
very busy working on integrating sdk's and preparing for release on PC :).
We will keep you informed.
Your Support Team."
Nothing was mentioned about GOG, but still this is awesome news!
Very cool! (Yes, I had noticed things had been VERY quite lately.) I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic; as odd as this may sound, I hope they feel like they need GOG as a good distribution tool for this. (I mean theoretically, they try to could handle all this themselves, couldn't they?) They sent me this response:

I'm hoping that, if things work out, we get both Nimbus's versions (assuming they are not SCUMM) and the SCUMM originals. And, of course, the soundtracks - I may go ahead and contact Team Fat about this.
------------------------------------------------------------
I finally went ahead and sent a message to Team Fat about possible releases of the original game music (the lo-qual stuff that has a high nostalgia factor); I was worried they might try to use this desire as "leverage" and try to raise the price of game releases above 5.99 or 6.99, but I was also worried NOT saying anything might result in missing an opportunity for release.
Oh well, if a music deal can't be worked out, I or HumongousSoundtracks will just provide the tunes on each game's page, or explain how to extract the music.
