Oh man, I hope that's as awesome in execution as it sounds on paper!

Actually, scratch that - it couldn't possibly be as awesome as that, but I hope that it's at least, say, half as awesome!

Sadly, the last update about this game looks to be 2008. :(

Yes, it would have been nice if they had kept it up, maybe expand it some, etc.
Interesting, I just noticed "Cephalopods Co-op Cottage Defence" (sic) on the front page of their site. Similar style, I think.

Fellow Lovecraftians,
check this Cthulhu Bundle.
http://store.indiegala.com/index.php/the-call-of-cthulhu-bundle.html

I was really sceptical about wasted lands when it first came to the iPad
but this is a REALLY good TBS RPG that catches the spirit of the lore remarkably good.

and the ezine is a nobrainer anyway.

an old adventure game Daughter of serpents is very much lovecraftian, even the studio that made it was named after something from the mythos

then there are some minor things like Quake having lovecraftian final boss or X-com: terror from the deep being heavily inspired by the mythos including the master alien being asleep in his underwater city

And ofcourse there is Cthulhu saves the world rpg game :)
Not sure if this will help.

Not directly related but i used to LOVE the game Nightmare Creatures on my old Playstation back in the day.. It has a very Lovecraftian atmosphere and some monsters designs, foggy England streets, Adam Crowley.. Great memories!!

Edit : here is one addition directly related, Necronomicon, a game using that 360 panoramic of late 90's even with a modern digital download DRM free and a fair price tag :

Um, Cthulhu Saves The World? (Not really. :D)

The Stars Are Right! and The Crawling Chaos: Call of Cthulu are two Lovecraftian modules for the Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures engine, but in order to play them, you'd need (or [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/forgotten_realms_unlimited_adventures_ssi_gold_box_edition]this, damn those double entries!). ;)

Azilut: It's a bit of a stretch to call this one Lovecraftian, but those who enjoy Lovecraft (in the "ancient forbidding secrets" sense, not the "BLARGH Squiddemon!" sense) will probably also enjoy Barrow Hill.
Possibly. It nails its visual/aual atmosphere, that's for sure, and it's not too confounding in the puzzle department. But I personally found the actual horror to be badly done, sometimes even humorous.

Has anyone mentioned Scratches yet? Because it's got some issues when it comes to its gameplay, but the horror is fantastic and very Lovecraft inspired.

mondo84: Scratches is Lovecraftian to the bone.

And it's here on GOG.
Omgmuffins, how did this one slip past my radar. Back in 2007, sure. When it was released here? For shame.

Expediate the immediate purchase and probably giveaway host will later.
