Just wondering how people are enjoying it, games that are announced and such. What's the standout thing for you guys?

For me, it has to be the Spiderman game, could be good!
Not seen all the conferences yet so I've probably missed a few games, but Prey looked cool and the concept of a new Quake game is exciting. Not sure from what they said if it'll be the Quake game I was expecting though so I'm reserving judgement until I see some real in-game footage.

The new South Park game should be great if they can create the same kind of atmosphere as the first game.

Also Star Trek VR because I am a massive dork and want to push buttons.

Edit: The new Resident Evil seems cool as well even if it is a departure from the series. It looks like the kind of game I'd play.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one, but:

1) Not being made by Obsidian. Instead, it's Ubi San Fran, which has very little in the way of a track record.
2) Season Pass is supposedly going to be a part of this, FFS.
3) Ubisoft, which likely means lots of tasty DRM.

So, at best, it will be a 'wait-until-the-deep-discount purchase', I guess.
Bit disappointed in some companies, but hey I got to see more footage of Mount and Blade 2 so I'm happy.
Pissed youtubers I regularly watch are rambling on about consoles. And why the hell is anything being discussed when they're showing nothing from which any conclusions can be drawn? Seems pointless and arbitrary.
well, one of the few things I was interested in seeing was a release date for the new Rhythm Heaven, and it just got stealth released soooooo....
I think it's been really good, especially Sony's presentation. I've never really watched E3 before, so it's been an experience for me. The game that stood out to me the most is the new God of War - such a beautiful game! But since I don't have a PS4, can't really look forward to it. X) So the game I'm looking forward to the most would probably be Prey, it just looks really interesting to me.

Can't say I care much about the whole thing. I try to think about games when they are released, finished (lately not the same as released) and I can play them. I don't have much interest in concept art.
I've doing my best to ignore it completely. Nothing good can come of it. Better to just focus on the games coming out right now, with reviews and gameplay videos to tell me whether they're worth buying or not.

My most anticipated game is Persona 5, and even that one I avoided watching more than a minute of gameplay since it's not coming out until next year.
I'm more consumed by feelings of "WTF" rather than joy, but...

New Prey has my interest but it looks nothing like a Prey game and I'm still pissed off Human Head's Prey 2 got cancelled because it was an awesome concept. New Prey gives me more System Shock vibes.

Skyrim remaster perplexes me completely, and it annoyed me they basically said they'd never remaster Morrowind which deserves the treatment far more.

Quake Championship sounds fine and dandy until you realize they outsourced it to the dev Saber Interactive which has some mediocre titles and Halo titles under their belt. Basically they're making the same fucking mistake they made with DOOM twice in a row. (Though this means id would technically be free to make an actual Quake reboot)

Dishonored 2 looks cool. No complaints there.

90% of Ubisoft's games are so tired and formulaic. How to spot an Ubisoft game: Open world, parkour, military weaponry and driving, co-op focus. Yawn.

EA's entire show was pretty much garbage.

Resident Evil 7 has my interest, at first I was concerned but after listening to the developer interview I've come to appreciate it a little more. Plus it brings a smile to my face to see something like PT again since I was really, really looking forward to that.

Kojima's game Death Stranding might be cool, hard to tell with no gameplay, but I'll keep my faith in the man.

Dawn of War 3 looks amazing and I'm super hyped for it. Just crossing my fingers they don't try to completely fuck their customers with DLC like they did with Company of Heroes 2.

E3 hasn't been exciting since like, the early 2000's/late 90's, and I usually have a 3-5 year gap before I touch any fresh new titles, (though I make special exceptions and DoW 3 will probably be one of them).

i pretty much side with the wandering fruity here
i dont really pay much attention to E3 its all just hype and announcements and vauge trailers anyway

im more interested in the actual games when they are finished and when i can see them or play them myself and form my own opinion instead of just a load of hype
Yesterday I've spent the whole day watching Zelda stuff. Which, despite being my favorite franchise, I hadn't been caring for it for a long while.
So yeah, E3 was pretty much it for me and I'm fine with that.

^This.

Also, there are just too many games now and keeping up with the releases is enough energy as it is.

Yup. Apart from Death Stranding and UbiSoft's Steep, there wasn't a lot that genuinely interested me. The Star Trek VR game looks nice, but being tied to current VR hardware (for four people, no less) puts it out of reach for all but the most well-heeled of Star Trek nuts.

Though I'd love to see Marvel do for Marvel IP video games, what they did for Marvel IP movies.
