Really excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn. It is a narrative-driven Western RPG that is very reminiscent of The Witcher series and Bioware RPG. I think the developers are trying to emulate games from Bioware and CD Projekt Red. The post-post-apocalyptic world-building with a mixture of primitive and futuristic elements is fascinating. I was super excited when I saw dialogue wheels and multi-sheet customiztion menus pop up during the gameplay demo, which confims the game is a full-fledged RPG.

Horizon: Zero Dawn will be a first-party exclusive for PS4. I currently do not own a console. I've always wanted to play the Uncharted series and The Last of Us. However, the Naught Dog games have not yet been enough to close the deal on a Playstation for me. Horizon: Zero Dawn, if it receives great review scores, may finally be the one to close the deal for me.

we are also getting more and more jaded
the industry is more about nickle and diming
dlc crap
pre orders
day one bonuses
day one patches
shipping half finished games
and endless sequels

Goatbrush: The new South Park game should be great if they can create the same kind of atmosphere as the first game.

GR00T: I'll be keeping an eye on this one, but:

1) Not being made by Obsidian. Instead, it's Ubi San Fran, which has very little in the way of a track record.
2) Season Pass is supposedly going to be a part of this, FFS.
3) Ubisoft, which likely means lots of tasty DRM.

So, at best, it will be a 'wait-until-the-deep-discount purchase', I guess.
I do not think you need to worry about since the game is being written by their creators, just like the first one was. I do agree with all your other points though.
I didn't have any time to watch the E3 conference this year. All I can do is look for the new announcements on reddit or get them from friends.
So far, I'm happy to hear the game will be a thing. And another card game that got my interest is [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2e6zkrX1Yo]The Elder Scrolls: Legends.
Other than those two, I can't wait for The Walking Dead: Season 3 and Batman - A Telltale Games Series.

E3 was a massive letdown aside from a few spots.
As expected none of the bigger sites have so far covered games I'm actually interested in buying for myself, apart from Gran Turismo Sport and Forza Horizon 3.

When it comes to non-racing games I'm mostly interested in Syberia 3, it's more or less an insta-buy for me, counting the days.

However I've seen plenty of games on E3 that I want to see playthroughs of: Outlast 2, Dead Rising 4, Resident Evil 7, God of War, Days Gone, Dishonored 2, Death Stranding, Deus Ex, Horizon Zero Dawn, Mafia 3, Prey and several others. I'm even interested in watching a Final Fantasy 15 playthrough. These are not games I'm interested in actually buying though.

Skyrim Special Edition!
I think Forza Horizon 3 looks absolutely stunning- not to mention having roads only a few minutes from where I live, plus finally a Gran Turismo game. Those two and South Park The Fractured But Whole are what I'm looking forward to most in the short term.

Longer term, We Happy Few and State of Decay 2 (I loved the original) have some appeal.

Edit: oh yeah...Forza Horizon 3 actually has The Sandman, only Australian motor enthusiasts will understand.
