How long do you usually stick with your phone, before buying a new one? And what brand is the phone/mobile./smartphone

This is my phone now. Nokia 106. I change my phone in 7-8 years.

And this is my first phone LG KG 275 Model.

uhhh

yeah its that infrequent
Well, I had the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 since late 2011. I had to get a new phone because the USB connector broke last summer, but I'd still be using it as a phone if it hadn't. I still use it now, after getting a replacement USB connector from eBay for 3 bucks (including shipping... China!) but not as a phone, just for gaming because of the large screen, and for reading comic books and ebooks. So I'd say, if you get a really good phone, you can go years on it. Almost 4 years for my Note, and I hope to be using it (for other purposes) for at least 4 years more.
Depends on how it takes me to accidentally submerse it in water :-\ Otherwise, until it gives in from old age.
Whenever it stops working. ;)
I don't plan to replace my Studio C for a while yet.
Still haven't bought one to replace. :P
Since 2007 (my first mobile phone) I had 4 phones but I purchased just 1 of them - the rest I got from my parents taking their old phones once they get new model from their operator. That is how, about a year ago, I got my first smartphone (Samsung GT-I5510). I like it - it's small and has sliding keyboard. I don't think I'm gonna upgrade anytime soon. In fact, this summer I damaged the keyboard/screen ribbon but managed to replace it myself. I was so proud of myself :-P

When it doesn't work and I can't repair it, at least at an affordable price. Or I feel the phone doesn't serve me right anymore (some missing functionality), but that like never happens, I don't expect that much from a phone, as long as it can run offline car navigation. I don't do Facebook or Twitter or Snapchat or Tinder with my phone, and my Android games I rather play on a tablet (bigger screen).

Mostly my phones come from my employer though, but right now I am using a Samsung Android phone that I originally bought as a gift two years ago or so to someone, but she just bought a better phone so I asked if I could have her old phone, if she is doing nothing with it. I had to buy a new battery for it and re-install newer (Cyanogenmod) Android on it, but it works great for what I need it for. It even syncs beautifully with my work calender, which is nice.

I never replace my phone, it still works so I don't need to replace it. I have to buy new batteries for it every 2 years or so, but I buy those cheap Chinese knockoffs from Amazon for $6 instead of the Panasonic official ones for $35. Once in a while I have to disassemble it to clean out the keypad from food and drink chunks that clog it up from hooking it on my shirt collar while eating, but other than that it's solid. Panasonic makes awesome long lasting phones. The best part is they are Stupid phones with no Internet and they're not mobile, just the way I like it.

Siegor: So you're still using this?
Zach? No I never used him. I was always more of a Jessie fan.

I'm just glad she overcame that terrible coffee addiction...
When the one I'm using dies. Even today I would be using my still perfectly functional Samsung bought in 2005, if only the battery lasted more than ten minutes (they don't sell that kind of battery anymore, those criminals).
