Hey guys, I recently installed Galaxy, it's amazing, but it doesn't detect any of my installed games :c

Is there a button to make it scan and recognize the games I installed in my pc from gog.com?

Thanks in advance, you guys are very awesome <3

I think there's a plus sign. Click on that and then choose the particular game-folder you want to add.

By default the folder for GOG's games is called "GOG Games". In there should be a folder for each game. Choose the one you want to add and then it should be added (after downloading a small update to make it Galaxy compatible).

If you install through the Galaxy client the game will be automatically added.

Edit: added picture as an example. Click where circled red, in the upper left corner of Galaxy's starting screen.

Are all Gog games compatible with Galaxy? Of all my 17 installed games, I got only 2 to work with GOG Galaxy :c
Ah, I just read in the FAQ that some game must be installed again because older installs might not be compatible with Galaxy. Gotcha :v

Delicious saucey sauce:
https://www.gog.com/galaxy
Also take a look at this topic for an explanation how to add them manually.
Scan/add doesn't always work for me. Normally just go to the game in my library, then select More->Manage->Import Folder.

You are replying to a 7 year old thread/topic. I'm sure things have changed a great deal in Galaxy since this topic was created...

Click the cogwheel in the top left, choose Add Games & Friends, then Scan Folders for GOG Games.

With Galaxy 2 the UI desing is very confusing, but Im' struggling to enter in TW3 UI garbages so I'd say this dev isn't a top gun for UI design.

Firstly the Galaxy folder option for games was the folder where is installed the game, still the game wasn't indentified, bug.

Options at top left, Add games and friends > Add game myself, get a search list, select the game... Install button lol.

I had click install to install the game already installed, sigh. But clearly it wasn't again the 2H of boredom of manual install, was quick so either it didn't install anything either installed a last patch not in downloaded files for manual install.

You never clicked Scan folder...? The Install folder is the default install folder. It will not automatically add games. The add Game feature is for games not in your GOG (or other service) account. The option to add your already installed GOG games is Scan folder(s) for GOG Games under the Add Games and Friends item in the menu, or from the big purple button on the discover page.
Mmm ok in option menus, Add games & Friend, an ultra long sub menu item, Analyze folders to find some...", wierdly didn't noticed but the ... didn't help catch my attention.
