Good Day to you all, with GOG 2.0 I managed to import existing game installations quite easily. In the "Owned Games" tab I clicked the game. Next to the Install button, there is a smaller button (when I placed over the mouse cursor) it showed hint saying "More", then I chose "Manage installation" and then "Import Folder", then I selected the folder from where it was already installed by previous version(s) of GOG. client. After a few seconds the Install Button changed to Play.

Thank you, this helped me. All other solutions were useless.

Did the idiots at GOG remove that? I don't have the import folder option anymore. Pathetic. Gog sucks ass

The option is there TWICE in Galaxy:
1. Cog wheel symbol -> Add games & friends -> Scan folders for GOG games
2. + symbol -> Scan folders for GOG games

Maybe don't throw around slurs when the problem sits in front of the monitor?
