The only notice I ever received that there was even a sale going on was about 3 hours after it ended. Might want to look into a different marketing team. Guess I'll be buying my games on Steam when they do their sale since I know I won't miss that one.

Kind of a shame, I really prefer buying games from gog.

Hmmm... I got email when sale started, maybe something wrong with your mail. Also, i visit GOG once every week so i won't miss discounts because there is interesting small sales every week.

The sale was here for nearly 10 days. So you...didn't check GOG for over a week to see if there were any sales (and mind you, they have a promo at least once a week as it is)? That's kind of odd for somebody who supposedly prefers buying games from GOG, especially when you somehow KNOW when Steam's sales will be.
Isn't that kinda your fault?

Have you checked your spam mail folder? Spam filters of some mail service providers can put GOG newsletters there, also on Gmail they are usually in the Promotions section.

GOG actually sent 3 e-mails. The first was when the sale started (e-mail subject "Collect XP to unlock free games with deals up to -90%! The Monstrous Fall Sale is here!"), one when games were added to GOG Connect (e-mail subject "Fall Sale: 20 new games on GOG Connect & 350+ deals up to -90%") and one when the final deals were added (e-mail subject "Fall Sale Ending Soon: last chance for hundreds of deals up to -90%"). If you've only gotten the last one, check your spam folder (as already mentioned), but if the only one you received was the first one after the sale ended, do send a support ticket.

And be aware that you can always follow the RSS feed instead of the e-mails, for faster notifications.

You could just check GOG everyday you are on PC. It won't hurt to do this.
Another easy way to keep informed is to create a Dynamic Bookmark and just looking at the headlines there ... GoG offers a news feed you can easily add and just check within a second.
Have you checked your newsletter subscriptions?

boy, you sure showed them!
I know I got at least one email but you know, these things get buried in the noise.

There's also Twitter. Best though, is to check at least once a week.
You gotta be shittin' me Joker.
I remember discount being better and games costing less in some previous discounts than this fall sale
Please share with us where you live so I can go throw a brick through your window next time. That's a good and loud sign, right?

I got five emails. FIVE. One more and it would mean the spam filter got a new assignment.

WOW. Some of you are really really rude! This post was meant to be a heads up to gog that there may be some technical issues in their marketing department. Insults seem completely unnecessary, but I guess this is the internet.

No nothing in my spam folder. I haven't been playing any games lately that I got on gog so why would I randomly check it? I only buy a few games a year, not like I constantly shop for games....

I love how it's my fault I only got one email. I do normally get the weekly promotion emails, which is why I was so surprised not to hear anything about this until after it was over.
