As i get older, (i am now 47) i find that quite a few games these days have 'broken' easy difficulty levels. But i need that easy difficulty level to learn and get into the game.
I do not know what game developers fail to understand about the meaning of the word 'EASY'???
GET IT RIGHT!
But on the whole, most of the time i spend on gaming i will spend playing 20/30 year old games that i am familiar with. Learning new games requires quite a high investment of time and energy, nevertheless, i usually try to learn a new game at least 1 every 3 or 4 months. The problem is, i am ALWAYS disappointed in the end. Modern games are ALWAYS too annoying.... what it is, with the older games, i am used to playing from a position of stability, Newer games seem to be designed to make the player uncomfortable - i am just not into that.
As a very good example, i like Warcraft 1 and 2 but i do not like Warcraft 3 - as you can understand, Warcraft 3 is more demanding for your attention in multiple directions all at the same time - i F__ING HATE that
