Seeing how unfair regional pricing is makes me shiver :( I can understand how some countrys cannot even afford the normal price but making other people pay even more because of that is plain unfair.

It's not exactly because of that. It's just because they can get away with it, as in people actually pay that amount. No sales except on their terms and things would change, like they did for Russia.

But speaking of not affording, there went a good opportunity to look at the "economic realities" of African countries, eh?

Here's the wisdom of keeping all those regions separate while they were identical, eh? They were going to make a mess of it at some point again...

Big increase there! And since they don't have CA$ as currency, how's that justified?

Well, you could ask the same question for the Region CH, it is not like gog supports CHF ;-)
So the answer is, that it is gog logic.

Last rate update we also got one new flat-priced game (Sim City 4). Perhaps it's a trend.

Indeed. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Saturday sees new regions popping up.

Perhaps there's something in the works. Perhaps we'll see a new currency soon. Perhaps even a dedicated forum for people who speak ice hockey.
