bigblueogre: 3. Badges? GOG has badges? :O

zeogold: OP is probably talking about that XP gimmick that GOG keeps using for their seasonal sales.
I had no idea that was a thing. How does it work?

For every game you bought you got so much XP, the amount depending on how much you spent (if I remember correctly, I think it was 100 XP for every $1 spent). You could also get XP by earning various "badges", each badge requiring a particular task, such as visiting their Facebook page or adding 5 games to your wishlist. You would also get 100 XP each time you pressed a button, which you could press once per day, and get varying XP amounts when their Twitch team completed some video game challenge.
The XP you collected would unlock freebies, of which there was 3, at...I think 10,000, 20,000, and 30,000 XP. You could usually manage to get at least the 10,000 XP one without spending money if you got all the badges and hit that daily button each time until around the encore.

It is roughly 1000xp per $1. Probably differs in case of bundles.
There were three tiers at 5000xp, 15000xp and 30000xp.
You got free xp on completing certain badges like 'Visit the Galaxy page', 'Wishlist 10 games' etc and also got 100xp per day (upto 700xp) by clicking a button each day during the sale.
I hope it will have badgers. And maybe some mushrooms

Harsh man harsh ;)
I can't wait. GoG does it so much better than Steam, imho. Major Steam sales are like sex with a 500 pound woman: more to love, but yeah...

I have a bunch of stuff on my wishlist waiting. I'm hoping something on my wishlist will make it on their point based reward tier--if they do that this year.
