Would be nice to have an Ignore game button for games on their feature and preview page. There's quite a lot of games I'd never be interested in so I figure this would be best to curate the ones which would never show up again. Steam utilizes it so I would have thought GOG might've featured it by now.

Yep, not going to happen. First and foremost, nothing gets updated. But even if it did, it’s not beneficial to them, who want you to buy things. Hence why I would take my lists and collection offline and do it myself.
You could try this:

And just set a low priority to the ones you don’t want.

I agree, but before they did that, I'd rather have the ability to hide games in the website that I already own! It's so annoying sifting through a big sale when you own a tonne of the games on sale already (I'm not talking about the weekly sales, but the big event ones that happen around 6 times a year)
Sounds like something that would be ultra easy to add into the search as part of the SQL query...

If it's not beneficial, why does Steam have it?

I would love this feature. I hide quite a few games on Steam and while there aren't too many games here on GOG that I wouldn't at least try, I can safely say that a lot of the anime stuff and visual novels are games I have no interest in. Being able to hide those games would make browsing the store way easier. So yeah, I support this idea!

Don’t know, perhaps ask steam? Can’t see how it would be beneficial from gog’s side? In terms of added functionality it’s moot anyways, ulnless it’s a galaxy only feature there is no chance of it happening.
DRM isn't beneficial and Steam has that.

Of course it is. Without it many developers and publishers wouldn't even put their games on Steam.
yeah, I'd ask GOG to implement ignore user feature for its forums first lol

I'd argue the opposite. A hide option would only be beneficial to GOG.

- You would never buy games that you are so uninterested in that you go so far as to hide them completely. So no sales lost here.
- However "curating" your personal shop site in that way will make games you ARE interested in more visible and therefore more likely to be bought by you.
- Additionally hidden games data can be used to improve the "you might be interested in"-algorithm to give you suggestions more tailored to your interests. Again this actually increases the chance that you would be suggested games that you'd like to buy but weren't on your radar.

I have no doubt someone would argue. If I posted that night was dark there would be those who would swear blind that is not. That’s the problem with everything now. Anyways, back on topic, if you are interested in something, then add it to your wish list. You get notifications when it’s on sale and such like, so more chance you will buy it…

How can I put things on my wishlist if I don't even know they exist?
I'd wish there was only such problems with GOG's missing/lacking features.

How can you hide something if you don’t know they exist? You have to look through the list or look at the news items, and decide if they are interesting or not.
