I think it's more likely that he already left to deliver. In the closing post Lift said people had time till he woke up but I only saw that when I woke up so I definitely had time to do it if I read the whole post before going to bed (I only took a glance at the reveal and went to bed as I was dead tired). But I don't know. I suppose Trent will clear the mechanics up when he appears.

I feel the same, which is why Blotunga seeming to infer it several times since start of D2(likely to try and dissuade me from dropping the names of the senders for some reason) gave/gives me a bit of pause.

(Also Blotunga seems to be subtly hinting that they sent such a PR message to someone, and that that's why they didn't want me revealing the names of the senders....but then, as I asked them recently, why even put that idea on the table[in the game thread] for scum to see?)

I picked my choice about 25 or so hours ago, so there's a chance Lift wouldn't take any more messages after i'd picked someone. Either that or Lift had a deadline set and only the messages submitted before that got submitted to me for my choosing.

Technically it was flub who made me realize it and then on second read I figured it out. Not sure if that was what he was going for but his post "I support this message" reminded me of Zagreus from the game Hades who would accept a boon from the gods by saying "I accept this message!". The boons are provided by non other than Hermes who is effectively the Courier of the gods :)
