Hey everyone, after updating the client to the newest version of the galaxy client (which ends in a error message but later finishes normally) I cannot launch the Galaxy. Every exe in the galaxy folder results in a error message (Galaxyclient.exe - 0xc0000022) I tried reinstalling multiple times but nothing helped so far.

Am I the only one with this issue?

Thanks

Unistall Galaxy, reset the PC, redownload the Galaxy installer and install.
See if the problem persists.
Also, install in a different folder, see if it helps.

Try running Galaxy with administrator privileges. If that doesn't help, report the issue at http://mantis.gog.com
Don't forget to attach your logs, usually c:/program data/gog.com/galaxy/logs
Restarting the PC and installing in a different folder, administrator priviliges or even compatibility mode does not help at all. Still the same error (at the end of the installation I also get an error of GalaxyCommunication.exe (happens after visual redistributable install)

What OS you're using?
Windows 10, I haven't use Galaxy for two months but now I wanted to update because of W3 B&W but right after update Galaxy would not launch. Before that everything worked perfectly.
let me copy-paste one of my previous posts..
What you may try if you really desperate : ) copy storage and support folders from %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\ path. Uninstall Galaxy, delete everything left in the path above, install client again and move those two folders back. Keep in mind you will have to import games after that.
I'm not sure if it will help, but you could try this:
After uninstalling Galaxy
open the windows console and type: sc delete GalaxyClientService
Reinstall Galaxy

Hopefully it works.
Only folders I have in there are - redists and webcache (maybe because of the numerous uninstalls)

almabrds: Already tried that, nothing :/

So, delete everything in there. And if still no go, report the issue at mantis.. Logs or didn't happen! ; p
It's trying to tell you something.

I'm sorry for hearing that.
Do what Mike said.
That did not help unfortunately.

Are logs created automatically or do I need to do something in order to create them?

Could you post a screenshot of that error?

I don't think any logs will be created with the kind of problem you're experiencing :(

Liosan
Here I have four screenshots - first two errors come up after visual redistributable update, after that the setup finishes (screen 3) but when trying to launch Galaxy screen 4 happens.

The errors are in Czech but they simply state that the application could not be launched properly and that by clicking OK the application will be closed
