Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

same as two before, gog galaxy cant maintain a connection when my computer is clearly connected, connect button rarely works and doesnt stay for long. please help?
I just installed this, and I can't even start the program. First it asked me to type in my login info, and when I did, I got a server 500 error message.

When I closed that message and tried to start the program again, I just get a blank white screen.

This is kind of disappointing, as I'd love to have a Steam-like interface and organizing utility for my Gog games.

EDIT: Tried again, got it to work by clicking in the middle of the white screen. First login attempt failed again, second attempt worked. And..... it says I have no games installed.

Does it want me to re-install my entire library? I don't want multiple installations of my games on my computer, which is straining for memory as it is. Do I need to uninstall all my old GoG games and re-install them through the client? That kind of bites, but I might be willing to do it once the client is stable. I guess it isn't, not yet.

Could someone please tell me, though, is it supposed to be necessary to uninstall all your games from the old Gog.com directory and then reinstall them through the client?

EDIT #2: Just went back a third time, and now it can't log on again. I press the connect button, and nothing happens. I don't think this is ready for public beta.

here's the only fix that works i've found, seeing as none of the gog support seem to have a clue, dont use their dogshit installer and download it straight from the website instead
The Witcher 3 patch 1.07 just came out on PC and the GoG Galaxy servers are overwhelmed trying to distribute the patch to all the clients (People with the game) so that is why Galaxy is knocking people offline and failing to work correctly. It should sort out by later today when most have gotten the update. It is not on your end but on the backend support for Gog Galaxy's patch distribution system, hopefully they are working to make it more robust to handle all the connections in the future.
Same issue as the posters above me... GOG Galaxy suddenly says I'm not connected when trying to download the 1.07 patch or DLC for The Witcher 3.

Error message switches between "Installation failed: connection problem" and "Not authorised".

Clciking "Connect Now" a lot seems to reconnect me, lets me browse my stats and the store, but downloads always fail.

I hope that is the issue because I am having the following issues

When trying to update on the setting "Manual Update" I get the error "Unauthorized"

When trying to update on the setting "Automatic Update" I get the error "Installation Failed: Connection Problem"

retrying does not help.

Sometimes it will kick me out of gog and say that I am not logged in.

When any of the above issue occur, I have to close and re open gog for it to "look" normal but as soon as i click update, GOG galaxy will fail to do so and bug out to where i am unable to even uninstall any dlc on ANY game other than the witcher 3.

EDIT: I would just like to note that reinstalling GOG galaxy does nothing to alleviate the problem where it says my other games need to be updated. I have no other games that need to be updated so I am not sure why it is telling me that my other games need an update. Anyways....

Thanks for the reply. GOG is working as it should be now. No issues to report. Only thing I can even be picky about is when i click on "1.07" in GOG Galaxy to the right of the "More" button, It shows patch notes for 1.06 but im sure this will update in a bit. Thanks for the hard work!

Issue should be resolved, thanks for your involvement.

papillon225: Achievements and auto update are coming this year? For me this are the most important features.
avatar
BKGaming: Both are already in, granted the achievements are for only a handful of games right now.

https://www.gog.com/mix/games_with_galaxy_achievements
For my games there is no support on GOG Galaxy, i've gotten used to this things on Steam and Google Play and really hope that implementing this features doesn't take too long.

Today I downloaded The Witcher 3 game and all DLC for this game from GOG site manually. After installing game and all DLC I'd launched game (for test) - all work correctly.

After that I import folder with game to GOG Galaxy.
GOG Galaxy client started downloading update (this is strange because I downloaded last version of the game from site) .

When I started game again I couldn't load any save game because any DLS is missing.

Result:
GOG Galaxy client import only game, but not DLC. Moreover it delete any DLC.

(Sorry for my bad english)
What seems to be the trouble?
Unfortunately Galaxy didn't screw anything for me, perhaps I'm doing something wrong..
I was called a fanboy, but I think a true believer suits me more and I'm fully up for two Galaxy lines. Possibly with separate thread, so some of us don't have to read the same, already answered many times questions every other post. Too bad Galaxy went open beta too early, but that's obvious. Otherwise you're doing a great job so far.
Is it just me, or do others think that Galaxy does not "synch" very well with GOG.com?

Just now, I came to GOG.com to check out the boards. I notice I have "2 new updates" for my games. Cool! Let's get Galaxy up and running.

Well, according to the website, Legend of Grimrock and To The Moon have updates or me. According to Galaxy, all is fine and dandy, ie: "Nothing new to see here. Move along." I do not see any updates in my library. Am I missing something? Is Galaxy working in the background? I do not see any "activity" going on in Galaxy.
So far my experience has been nice with galaxy, the only thing is that i dont know if its related i have witcher 3 on gog, and for some reason the achievements are not unlocking, so i wonder if its a beta problem or if im the only one with that problem.

To The Moon had a bonus content update and Legend of Grimrock had the Linux version updated.

Galaxy has a changelog feature and that will let you know what was updated :)
