tfishell: Cyberpunk2077 release fiasco (assuming GOG's relationships with publishers suffered, even though the state of the game wasn't GOG's fault),
foad01: Cyberpunk 2077 is more successful than Witcher 3.
Maybe it was unfair to include that. However...
Somebody here suggested that if 2077 had better received initially, GOG might have an easier time getting AAA titles here because publishers would have been interested in having their games on the same store with such a prestigious title.
Likewise, iirc we got Horizon Zero Dawn a few months before 2077 released and nothing from Sony since then. Now, that may just have been because sales on GOG weren't good enough for them, but remember that there were mass refunds for console versions (or at least PS4) of the games. That may have soured (or been a part in souring) Sony on working again with GOG.
In any case, I'll try to stay on-topic. Something to combat spam would of course be nice, I'm just not getting my hopes up.
