It is a bit annoying to have to favorite this thread in order to know if there is a daily deal, and which one it is.

How do they sell, compared to the time where they were displayed on the front page? I wonder.

If they stick with this system, I'd imagine they sell just as well. We'll see what GOG does next.

Sales can't be as good as before. Before, the Daily Deal was clearly labeled as such, leading to the conclusion that there is a new one every day. New customers won't know to check every day for deals, old customers may think they have discontinued the Daily Deal since it is not advertised anymore.

Looks like during the weekdays, they advertise the DD right above the "Now on Sale", one of the four slots, randomly changes. During the weekend it wasn't anywhere on the front page.

My guess is that the DD is added manually to the front page, and during the weekend, no one is around to add it.

This new front page is seriously stupidly weird. If not for this thread I wouldn't know the Daily Deal is Metro 2033 Redux because it doesn't appear in any of the four boxes https://images2.imgbox.com/1a/57/XXnZyhmS_o.png It does pop up from time to time but not at other times though

Let me express my thanks here to users like bhrigu, kbnrylaec, PainOfSalvation and RickyAndersen (also any others I may not have mentioned despite deserving it) for making and keeping this thread updated. While Gog is doing its best to ensure that no customer will be made aware of what is on sale and therefore that we shouldn't buy here at all, this thread is one of the few ways I can know if there's some game I would like to spend my money on.

Then again, apparently Gog took care of this too. Other than the very rare outlier I haven't seen a decent daily deal in more than a month. King of Dragon Pass, 50%? Cinders, 40%? Dragon's Lair Trilogy, 15%? Really? Other than Legends of Eisenwald 80% off last sunday all the deals have been lackluster lately.

If they keep this trend I might stop bothering with daily deals as well.

Why not just have a new line in the "Store" drop down for "Daily Deal" after "On Sale Now". Gimme something! I used to check every morning over coffee.

I wanted to buy that today because when I saw it yesterday, I thought it was part of the weekly sale, not a daily deal, and so I had no reason to rush to buy it yesterday.

I was never confused about what was a daily deal or not before GOG ruined this site for its 10th anniversary.

Now I'll end up waiting for it to be on sale again before I buy it.
