A musical action-adventure set in the recesses of the human mind? That’s Figment! And until March 9th, 5 PM UTC, you can add this awesome game to your library for free!

Figment is an excellent action-adventure puzzle game presenting a strange and surreal world; a place filled with our deepest thoughts, urges and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads. While this place has been quiet and calm for some time now, new thoughts have started to emerge – taking the shape of nightmarish creatures who spread fear wherever they go.

We have to join Dusty – the mind's former voice of courage – and his ever-optimistic friend, Piper, on an adventure through the different sides of the mind, solving puzzles to set things straight, beating back the nightmares and seeking to restore the courage that's been lost.

It is the perfect time to claim this story-rich, atmospheric gem and explore its beautiful, whimsical and hand-drawn world, as its sequel – Figment 2: Creed Valley will be soon available on GOG!

We will once again embark on an adventure with Dusty and Piper and make our way through puzzles, musical boss fights and unique environments. Nightmares have shattered the Moral Compass, making The Mind unable to function properly. Traveling to the titular Creed Valley, a place where The Mind’s ideals are formed, is our way to try to restore peace.

Claim Figment, wishlist Figment 2: Creed Valley and enjoy their unique and unforgettable tales!
Claimed this giveaway three days ago, but forgot to say thanks. So, thank you Bedtime Digital and GOG for the freebie! :)

MarkoH01: Just FYI - unfortunately Figment was out of date on GOG for quite some time. A few years ago I already reminded the devs about this and they promised me to fix it. However it seems as if they have forgot about it since yesterday another GOGer reminded me that the game still was not up to date and so I decided to tell them about it again yesterday. They listened closely to my feedback and immediately corrected their mistake. Just today only hours later I received the following message from the devs:

"The most recent build is now up on GOG"
I appreciate you taking the time to contact devs and sharing such uplifting news with the community! ;)

According to the last mail I got from them, they will make the soundtrack available here, but it's "unlikely" that they will update the Linux and Mac version.

What version do these have on Steam anyway?

Was coming here to ask about that. Urgh. :(

I am not a Mac or Linux user but given how the devs reacted when I last contacted them I was surprised reading this here. So I contacted them again today. Unfortunately their reply basically confirmed the mail neumi5694 received.

"We can only update for windows at the moment, and it is very unlikely that a Mac or Linux update will happen.
I feel for those who have the game on those platforms without the updates too, but it is not in our plans at the moment."

Being disappointed about this I simply told them:

"The "at the moment" part still offers some hope ... but not the "unlikely that the update will happen" part. If I'd be a Linux or Mac user this would be the moment in which I'd demand a refund because ... why not? I completely understand that right now (with the Figment 2 release and all) you can't be everywhere and have to set priorities but I really think you should rethink not updating a certain version anymore at all - especially since we are probably talking about a final update because the product should now be finished already). Imo it is quite simple: if you are unsure if you can support a certain version simply don't sell it. If you want to sell a certain version ongoing support should always be part of the process - no matter the store or the platform. It is like wanting the good (additional purchases) without the bad (additional workload) and this imo simply is a bad thing to do. I'd go even further and say that I would hope that there'd be a law in such cases to prevent this ... but that's just my personal opinion which I wanted to say. That being said ... plans can always change."

and got the following reply

"They are more than entitled to a refund in this current position, I will not argue that.
I also agree with the rest of your message. First let’s see if we survive this release period"

So maybe there still is a bit of hope that they'll reconsider after things around the actual Figment 2 release has calmed down a bit.

Thanks, it’s good to know that they are not trustworthy.
I won’t waste money on their next game.
