Thanks for the giveaway! I checked your list and I think you should play at Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Looks like you spent a lot of time playing at similar games of this genre. I played it for a while and this rpg seemed to me quite interesting.
Thanks for doing this insanely generous givaway, Doc!

I was having a tricky time figuring out which game to recommend to you, because there's just so many to choose from, and of the ones I pondered over, they are all great in their own way, but if I could only choose one, it would be ECHO.

ECHO is a sci-fi stealth game that very few people seem to have heard of it, let alone even played. Sadly, the developer shut down some time after it's release, so we're not likely to hear from them ever again, which is a shame because ECHO is just such a genuinely and incredibly unique experience, made by a team that clearly poured a lot of love and care into it's craft and design, both in story and gameplay. I don't want to explain too much for concern of spoiling anything, as I think it is best experienced with a fresh perspective. And I worry it might feel a bit frustrating at first, but it's a game that requires patience as it asks you to understand it's puzzle. And if you do solve it's puzzle, it may still leave you with some questions, as it has with me. But to be honest, I'm alright with that. In my opinion, some mysteries are best left unsolved, but what I experienced with this game will stay with me forever, and hopefully it will do the same with you.

P.S. I should also mention that the game has been known to crash randomly, but it's only happened two or three times for me during my entire playthrough and it was easy enough to get back in and continue playing. It took about 8 hours in total for me to finish. (It would have been less but I spent a lot of time taking screenshots and just looking around certain areas because they were really pretty to look at, haha)

It's a toss-up between SOMA and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. If you haven't seen or read SOMA spoilers then I would suggest playing it. It's the kind of game that you will think about even after finishing it. Return to Castle Wolfenstein because it's the granddaddy of FPS. Played it multiple times and it still holds up. Leaning towards SOMA though because it has a better story than RTCW.
I was about to recommend Fallout, but taking into consideration the fact you spent many hours with Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I think you played it before not on GoG so I will not mention it.

I had pleasure of taking part in your dungeon exploration forum game and based on this experience, I think you would enjoy Legend Of Grimrock . The game does not feature character interaction or any dialogues but it makes up for it with atmosphere, clever puzzles and wonderfully made dungeon levels. I am sure you will find it to be worth your while.

Populous the Beginning

It's a unique game, very simple to learn and play and with more advanced spells, it's fun as heck to wreck havoc in the enemy tribes. Send a single well positioned priest with invisibility and magic shield and watch the enemy tribe fall apart while your priest convert dozens of enemies into your warriors.
Still haven't found other game that play like Populous 3. While there are plenty of RTS, having a Shaman(hero) and the individually comandable minions, together with the destructible/deformable enviroment makes it a unique experience and a landmark in history.

Hard to pick one of the huge list. Since it's one of my favorite games ever (since the time games had actual humour) and because many "high profile" will get much more recomendations, gets my vote :)

Pajama: EDIT: I see I've been beaten in recommending Dishonored which just goes to show what a good game it is :) but I'll add a recommendation for King's Bounty: The Legend. Another excellent game (one of my favourites I go back to) that will keep you playing just one more turn. It's fun, highly entertaining and just so easy to get into. I'll definitely say give it a go :)
It's great but gets repetitive after a while. Enjoyed much more Armored Princess/Crossworlds than the Legend, maybe because of more varied units makes (and higher level units available sooner) the game somewhat less boring.
Dragons on the Legend are freaking OP and playing with a single stack makes the game too easy, even on impossible, as a mage.

Neither the less I have probably over 300 hours on both games, so can fully atest your recomendation.

A Doc's giveaway is never a mini giveaway:) Thanks!

Let me suggest a new game that I haven't played but looks really cool and fun.

The Magister
https://www.gog.com/game/the_magister

A deck building detective rpg. Choose a character, build a deck, talk to people, investigate and find clues, turn based battles on a square grid, hire a companion, solve the case. And it's randomly generated which gives it more replayability.
Thank you for the generous giveaway, Doc! :)

You should play Infested Planet, something I would call a small gem. It's one of my favourite indie games, to which I come back every few months to play a couple of missions or a Planetary Campaign. It's a real time tactical game where the key is to switch between soldiers types as the situation dictates and use the abilities oftenly, something I failed to do in the beginning. The missions can be done under an hour, if you don't play too defensive or on the highest difficulty levels, so that can be a plus given your huge backlog.
Not in, but I suggest to play a co-op same screen with gamepad support
I can see in your library:
METAL SLUG X
METAL SLUG 3
METAL SLUG
LEGO® Batman 2 DC Super Heroes™
I have completed those with a partner using cheap gamepads without issues.
The Slugs take 1.5hr tops each, the Lego much more but is a great intro to the vgaming hobby to my kiddo nephews.
My 2 cents, hope it helps and you have N times fun among good company!
Thanks for your generosity and good luck to all the participanting gogers!
Obviously, you should play Cyberpunk 2077 first. Why? Because this game can be praised or scolded, but it will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. You need to play it at the time of its release, and not 10 years after release, in order to feel all the charm.

And thanks for your generosity, doc!

Doc0075: I own many games here at GOG and want some help in what I should play next.

The way this giveaway works is simple - go to my profile and look at the games that I own, choose one you think I should play and say why I should play that game.

I will select 10 game nominations through random.org and not only will I play those 10 games but also the people who suggested them will win a GOG game of their choice.

This giveaway is open to everyone.
Please make sure your chat is either set to public or add me as a friend otherwise I cannot message you if you win.

Good luck to all who enter.
After check your games I think I got the prefect recommendation for you, The Journey Down, is one of the best point-n-click I ever played. The game has a really interesting story, likeable characters, good puzzles, incredible art and an outstanding soundtrack. Will you help Bwana and Kito to solve the mystery of the The Journey Down?

Hi Doc, and thank you for the giveaway!

Out of the games on your list that you have not played yet (at least according to GOG's stats), I recommend to play STAR WARS Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. It's a great Star Wars experience where your main character is like a mix between Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, and you get to explore various Star Wars locations while blasting at stormtroopers and bounty hunters and fighting sith with lightsabers. Moreover, I recommend to try out the Jedi Knight Remastered Mod, which nicely updates the graphics.

Alternatively, if you like something story-focused, I'd like to suggest Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. It's a classic of point and click adventure games, an original adventure that makes you feel like Indy, and even supports three different paths (team, wits, fists).

You should absolutely play The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. All of the TES games are great in their own way and Oblivion is my favorite in the series but Morrowind was my introduction to RPGs in general (unless you count an MMO as part of that, since I played RuneScape prior). It's a sandbox RPG with ~50 hours of main quest to go through and hundreds of hours of intricately detailed quests (including some fantastic guild/faction quests), a great character building system, an awesome layered armor system and an incredibly unique and intriguing fantasy world that often feels almost like Star Wars or sci-fi just as much as it feels like fantasy. It really is one of the most beautifully complex sandbox RPG experiences you'll ever have. The story is fantastic and by the time you reach the end of the game, you'll truly feel like you earned every bit of the reward of that adventure... and that's without looking at the two expansions (people prefer Bloodmoon but I was always partial to Tribunal) and handful of free DLCs. There's also quite a good selection of mods to check out.

If you've ever enjoyed ANY sort of RPG, particularly of the sandbox variety, you owe it to yourself to give Morrowind a good, long shake. Also, if you're not convinced by what I said here, here's a video that delves much deeper into what makes it such a great game, even now.

Anyways, thanks for another giveaway, you absolute legend. Good luck to all!
My sugestion is Pool of Radiance, the first official D&D CRPG and til to this day one of the best.
The interface is archaic, but if you can endure that you'll get into a very fun and challenging game.
Grab your pencil and graph papers, read carefully the manuals and... JOIN THE LIBERATION OF PHLAN!
Doc,

I was going to suggest a dungeon-crawler and then card game with action sequences...

... until...

... I saw you have Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway and haven't yet played it!

A solid FPS with tactical command elements, BiAHH is one of my absolute favorite WWII games... and being a WWII buff I've played more than a few. It's a top shelf experience and really drives home for me that Gearbox should go back to work on this series ASAP. I've played through this game 4 times and still enjoy the experience immensely. Definitely worth the time.
I absolutely must recommend Age of Decadence as well.
The game is simply brilliant, and you can complete it by being a murderous machine, a complete pacifist and everything in between.
Full diplomat run? Check. Legionnaire? Check. Master of disguise assassin, thief, loremaster, merchant, even a treacherous servant of many masters? All checked.
A ture cRPG if I ever saw one, incedible freedom of choice compared to most of its peers. It's quite brief for its genre, but then again it is meant for huge replayability - you will never be able to do everything with a single character, and that's fine by me.
