P.S. What makes me happy lately are demonstrations of selflessness of people like the OP that show that there's still good people out there capable of being kind to a complete stranger. It shows that humanity is not all a crapshoot.

Sleep deprivation is terrible. Often people use coffee to reduce their fatigue
But it is only a temporary fix, a way to fool ourselves
Over time we accumulate so much sleep debt!
Making us into a perma-grumpy cat and easily irritated and frustrated furballs!
Not psychopaths, just sleep-impoverished cats
It wouldn't be exaggerating to say sleep is the key to our life's happiness

It's no foreign concept, but I also feel so guilty when I oversleep.

As something so critical to our lives, it is still a mystery to why we need it
But science admits sleep is definitely mandatory and our body silently tracks debt when we skip it...
I rather it tracks how many delicious sweets we ate to be honest
Something so mysterious and time-consuming yet mandatory
Seriously a love hate relationship
Hopefully in 2023, we can get nice pillows and blankets replacement
Maybe a special blanket for summertime given the hot weather doesn't work well with cotton
It's unbelievable how expensive the prerequisite equipment for good sleep can be...
Lastly, an improvement to the general attitude towards sleep in our cat society would be splendid!

My most recent memorable happy moment was 2 weeks ago, I gathered with the friends from high school to evoke our silly days. Personally, I laughed like I hadn't in a long time. The weight and stiffness on my shoulders suddenly lightened. I wish y'all a session of spontaneous, benign and deep laughter as soon as possible. And a happy birthday to you pigulici, of course.
